Use Paint. It's free, already installed on your computer and it's simple to get the x,y and width and height.

Its the first four sets of numbers you use (from the left to right).
For example (2,12) [45, 76.]

(x,y) [w/h] of rectangle around the sprite

I used it and numbers didn't work

Then use paint.net
