Whoever is hiring SHOULD take a look at stats. Even though they don't matter, generally someone with higher stats will have more experience and be more knowledgeable about the game compared to people that idle in graal city all day.
This admin has about 2800 hours and only 9,000 kills. I can bet any sum of money that 2000 of her hours are total afked.
Still, this isn't always the case.

I have posted multiple times now about getting a new applying for staff thread but I seem to just get ignored about it. One of the things I wondered was if they look at your stats,and if they did if there was a minimum amount you had to have before you could get a staff position.
I know we could sit here all day and argue about what qualifies a player as having enough experience because there is no time stamping or logging in the game other than your "hours". Which we all know gets construed by idlers so it isn't accurate at all. I don't see why it doesn't show a joined date from the first time you logged on to graal.

Anyways, this isn't even fair. I'm seeing more and more admins that have no clue how to be a normal person. They think they're better than most of us regular players just because they got chosen for admin, highly unlikely chosen most likely they were just friends of an admin and got a good word in from them.

I keep seeing new admins pop up doing events,or running around on admin account talking to their friends. I was told they aren't really supposed to be visible to the public when on admin account unless doing an event. I also don't see why there needs to be 3 other admins sitting around observing an event while a fourth admin is hosting. I don't mind 1 sitting in and observing but 3 seems like a waste and they should be doing something better with there time on admin account like handling feedback or reports for a change.
It makes me wonder if they got hired because they are friends with an other admin or what? |
