They both have their ups and downs.
I personally would like a Mac just so I could get Pixen because I enjoy the design and tools of it more than Paint.net, Photoshop, and Gimp.
On the other hand, Windows is easier to use and allows you to use more programs.

Zetectic 12-18-2014 09:13 PM

They are both great. so heres
my thoughts on PC v. Mac
I just go with Mac, because my sony windows laptop always get viruses, having issue externally in the hardware drive, it get outdated really quick.
I changed to apple in 2011, I had to quit all the great 3d online games (probably the reason why i play graal) most games were only for windows version and most of developers prefer coding on windows over mac.
For normal daily user like me should just stick with Mac. It's simple, fast, it's fairly good and light if u have macbook air. I had them for 2-3 years, like again, never had issue with viruses, fairly fast, no external hardware problems, not many games to play but still great for people who has to use it for work purposes.
For iOS v. Android
iPhones are very easy to break, u all know. Android is just too complicated, too many different versions, phone types, too much settings. Android is like a PC in ur phone. iPhone, fast, does what it says it does. fast touch screen. BAD battery life. Other than that, it's great for normal ppl like me. I had 3 different android phones, it sucks imo. I went to Samsung store few month ago, samsung galaxy was little behind but its kinda catching up, they just have to do something about that touch screen.
My school has a lot of technology, like they have ipads for 9&10th grade for educational purposes. Even though kids break rules and download games on it (so apple need a new ios for schools only). I use android tablet for computer science, but it has a terrible touch screen sensor and slow af

What were you downloading and what anti-virus did you have? You're bound to get viruses at some point if you're careless and downloading tons of ****.

I understand how it could be complicated, Android isn't for everyone and some people prefer a much simpler interface. However, how is having too many phone types, versions and settings a con? Having more phone types allows for way more specialized features depending on what you would really use your phone for on a daily basis. For example if you use your camera a lot there's phones with great cameras, if you are use your phone outdoors tons then there's phones that are dust and waterproof, if you use your phone for gaming there's phones and tablets specifically designed for gaming. More settings allows for way more customizability which is something you really don't get much of with iOS, some of the settings may seem complicated but most stuff really isn't and is there to help make the phone easier to use for you.

What Android tablet? You can't generalize Android into one tablet, the speed and touch screen sensitivity of a phone/tablet is mainly in the hardware so if it's running slow that's probably the problem.

Lol, Android tablets and phones have better specs than iPads and iPhones more often than not...

The OS is fragmented to hell with all of the different skins used by manufacturers instead of stock Android (see: TouchWiz, Sense UI, etc.), but it's pretty simple to simplify the user interface with the use of custom launchers, lockscreens, icon packs, etc.

Like Vendetta said, different manufacturers make differing devices to give consumers options depending on what they want in a phone or tablet. This isn't a bad thing.

If your school's devices are having issues with display sensitivity and responsiveness, I'm willing to bet that it's a low(er)-end device or running a bugged up version of Android.

Zetectic 12-23-2014 12:35 AM

You know you did bring a good point and I am not an expert so this is where I really get confused. Android always say they have better spec and all crap. But in reality, in the visual perspective, android device suffer in multi-task and certain display issues. You can blame it on app developer, but it has to do with devices too. You already know I have a ****ty android phones in the past, but this one was a review video about the latest android device, and that device failed in the multitask challenge. It crashed at 4-5 things running at same time.
and one other thing. I was on youtube earlier

This guy is playing Graal on his android device. His screen freeze like every minute.

Kuuga 12-23-2014 04:54 AM

Mac is atrocious,
Windows phones are awful...

But a JB iDevice?
Or Windows Computers?
Those are awesome.

Android never say they have better specs because Android is just the OS, not the phone.

Link to the video on this multitasking on Android please? Just opened 10+ apps on my phone and it had no issues with crashing or any lag.

Yeah, Graal never has run perfectly on Android but I've never personally experienced any problems with freezing like the ones in the video.

Ash Ketchum 12-23-2014 02:07 PM

ya hes probably using an old android phone. Honestly though, the app for Android sucks

i dont think theres a multitasking feature on my ***, then again android is confusing af. idek
the phone that freezed out and end up crashing was one of those latest device. it was either samsung note or galaxy.
cause you can drag browsers with ur fingers and see multiple things on main screen. it is attractive, but it's not perfect.

Android is android, windows is windows

Also, I don't know about you guys, but it would be pretty damn cool to see implementation of windows operating system into a standard android phone.
