So I gave out almost 1000, and I'm getting 300 of it -___- wanted a divers hat but don't want to risk wasting it on any of the other hats... (Don't care for them at all)

Imo, all the candy we got should be added to our inventories, I only got like half of what I gave away. (I gave away 1000 and wasn't even able to collect near it). But for people who got insane amounts, would just be able to get furniture or gralats because they probably got all the hats and toys. Considering the meager amount of gralats (which isn't that bad for it's price), they would likely just go for furniture lol

Got a pretty cool divers hat and some really nice furniture. Someone told me there is an apple bobbing furniture which I REALLY want which is why I'm going to keep getting 100 candies. If I get that furniture I can die happily.

I don't understand why you guys can't clarify this stuff before the event and/or stick to 1 story when you're asked about it in the first place
I figure it's kind of a important thing to let people know about beforehand

obviously people who paid to give candies deserve some back, but when I asked if that's how it'd work in another thread, Rufus told me no - I'm sure he wasn't lying to me, has no reason to, so I just have to assume that the process randomly changed by someone between then and now, probably to salvage the event because of how everyone is whining

the event also claimed that the top 6 players would be getting the trophies, and it was randomly changed to the top 10
doesn't seem fair to whoever possibly placed in 11th place by just 5 candies, etc. - doesn't bother of affect me at all, just pointing this stuff out

thats what happened for me i where 10th got passed in the last few hours because i went sleeping and never knew that the top 10 will get the trophy...

I learned from it and i won't do a event anymore...

Give me mine 4100 candies now :angry:

those are the players that made the hunt possible, shouldn't they get a special candy giver hat(well at least the people that gave over 1k or 2k candies)



regular candy giver hat for people with over 2k gave candies and top 10 get one with their rank. I got you candy givers :D:P:love:

he's been missing for like a week now so whatever he was telling people I didn't hear or know about.

the prize thing was rushed and I didn't handle it very well and set prices too high based on what I saw on the leaderboards.

oh well, will make changes to it next year and hopefully things will go smoother.

It's very hard to anticipate how plans will play out when you're dealing with a large and diverse playerbase like on Classic. Sometimes you gotta tweak stuff as you go and when you're dealing with very specific holiday content that only spans over the course of a few days you'll never get that chance to tweak.

Classic was trying something new to try to provide players with a more immersive and enjoyable Halloween.

Still waiting on this. And 1/3 is really not a lot for players who couldn't afford to spend their life savings on virtual candy bowls ...
