I don't owe anyone a favor in which I don't have to gift someone. Just because its a holiday doesn't mean I have to give someone something. When I'm referring to gifting yourself in real life, I'm referring to things that benefit your health/protection. Call me the Grinch but we're both accustomed to different beliefs. Sorry if I don't agree with yours.
