I miss the golden days when there was no content

There are gani and level editors. You can get them by downloading the PC client, logging in, and going to Start > Install Packages.

I don't know if the script editor in the level editor would work very well considering there probably wouldn't be any server connection to test serverside vs. clientside script execution.

Alternative tile editor that doesn't use Graal formats (afaik): Tiled Map Editor.

Can't think of any gani alternatives because Graal uses several different graphic elements within a single animation, whereas most games rely on sprite sheets.

I'm with admiral on this one. The best part about the golden days with no content was the fact that we didn't have to endure the constant disappointment of all the horrible low quality content that is being released.

Aren't you ignorant post some graphics of your own if you are good at graphics, post some levels if you are good at leveling, I want to see solid proof you are even decent. I also don't want to see edits of heads.
