i made a mistake. selling black stones are DUMB + HUGE MISTAKE!!
USE THEM!!
1. you can extract black stones from old gear when u get a better gear!!
2. there's thing called 'safe enchant' where it guarantees non break/failure until (weapon +7, armor +5).
3. use marketplace and buy accessories if u need them + gems to put in ur armors.

^ i was struggling with monsters bc my DP and AP were low af. god damn.
the guide was wrong. u need to keep up with ur gears and there's not that many!!

i thought mobs were easy af cus i was thinking of the dragon nest, pretty much give u the latest equipment + mobs are easy + grind but u run dungeons. not staying one spot for hours.

This game is weirdly addicting. I mean i know what i am up against. Since it's all fair and square, we gotta grind for everything. But i have been on all week.. Enjoying the graphic and new discoveries i am making. I really wanna be 50 though so i can focus on other activities on that game. Like questing, fishing, connect nodes and trading etc.

It's a Korean MMO, you should be grinding till 4am to keep up

ha u are right. when i was in s. korea, i couldnt even play game for more than an hour. now here i am in USA playing 5+ hours a day lmao.

I love it when people don't give a rating in a review. It stops idiots from giving a kneejerk reaction(wtf he rated title x higher than title Y?) without reading the article. It allows for the writer to give their honest opinion without being criticized for their rating choice relative to other games.

i leveled up 3 today. all my past issues were gear related. I sold the Basteer Armors and got Zereth. Enchanted them to 1-3, eventually gonna make them all +5. and i broke my savings for Ultimate Basteer sword +7.

Keep:
Ultimate Basteer sword and enhance it to +7
Dobart gears too. Get all 3 of them to +5, at lvl 50 there's diff quest and let you exchange for really good gears.

also i hear that Tamer is a good class, at least for PvE. if i reach 5000 loyalty im gonna get a tamer.

My plans:
-get valkyrie to lvl 50
-do all the quest and connect nodes, unlock resources.
-do jobs and make some $$s
-get the rest to lvl 50
-join a guild and try guild quests, world boss hunting and guild war.
it's gonna take awhile though. im prob thinking a month.

today's adventure diary:
today i got my valk from 39 to 43. i received 4x 50%+ combat scrolls as a reward.(these are extremely good) i used 3 of them while grinding at chimeras. chimeras are one hotspot at night. i've never seen a spot this tight, that i needed a party for it.

my defense point is high now with 79 DP. but attack point is stuck at 45 bc of the ultimate basteer sword, which i need to keep so i can exchange it for better sword at lvl 48. idk at this point, i might just go buy yuria sword and make that +7 as well.

and the new expansion is already out? soft lvl cap 50 is gone now or what? and do we have to complete another 1000 new quests? oml.

Ok so Ive been looking for a new mmo.
Black desert looks good so far BUT I NEED to know if it have Ships you can fully operate with canons and all that.

as far as i know. they are only used for travelling or fishing. ships and wagons have long durability, but once it runs out, they are permanently useless, so i doubt that there's fully functioning cannons. im still busy lvling up all my char, so im not sure. dont quote me on this.

i saw the pvp side on the youtube. damn i need to get my ranger up again lol.
the pvp side is where this game is failing.

there's gonna be A LOT of pvp zones -there's no warp, short cut etc- and any lvl 45+ can be attacked.
currently, top tier guild members maxed all their equip with +15 gears - about 200 AP, 300 DP(?)
now with the release of mediah expansion, they can upgrade it to +20. that's insane. im barely at +5
if i reached lvl 45, im gonna be the easiest pvp target for them.
