Yeah, if your completely detached from pop culture, then "L" could mean "Lynch this n*****"

But we all know Hold This L means to take this loss, fam.

Never knew that, white bois still in the 90s :o
But where does 'L' come from?

Saw the reason mentioned on the first page of comments, but not officially given as the reason.

You cant have pics of a real person.
Laws and **** are why.

It used to be no real people at all no matter who.
But ofcourse we now somehow judge if someone deserves to be on a guildpic by how well known they are.

what

Because people were abusing gpic freedom.
At one stage there were kids spreading other kids nudes around via gpic.
Then they implimented the manually approved system, people were still posting pictures of players w/o permission from the person. Thus the no people thing was added

yeah guys we all know how well iBubble knows the rules with how often he's banned

Sir 05-13-2016 07:34 AM

wasn't the guild pic submission implemented due to an fbi investigation

official reason:

Guild logos now require the approval of staff members before they are public. This will help reduce the amount of inappropriate content that is uploaded. Following this, you may only change your picture every six hours.
i dunno where i got 'celebrity pics' are allowed thing, but im pretty sure that was one of the official rule(for iclassic gpics).

and awhile ago i did suggest about 16x16 pixel gpic where u can draw symbols etc.
^other games who had this worked out pretty well so.

Wait.

Since when in this thread was guild picture approval by staff before uploading an issue? That's understood, and has been a thing since long ago, and it should be in place for obvious reasons.

The question is whether or not a player can upload pictures of celebrities for a guild picture and whether or not this rule is stated anywhere. Furthermore, if players are NOT allowed to upload pictures of celebrities, then why was my picture of Drake deemed inappropriate, while Synx was able to have a picture of Nicki Minaj? A secondary concern comes when Classic Staff have been notorious for being quick to ban players for insufficient reasons, i.e. Uploading a guild picture without knowing it was "inappropriate".

I haven't logged onto the game for about a week since this happened, so for all I know Sync's guild picture could have already been removed.

Now, if players are NOT allowed to upload pictures of celebrities, then all I would ask for is a list of rules (which I have been informed is nonexsistent) placed somewhere in the game, preferablely a WARNING- READ ME notice before a player is promoted to select Yes or No to upload their guild pic. Lastly, it'd be nice if GPs or the "Uploads Staff" are on the same page when it comes to guild pictures that do not meet the upload requirements.

That's it, thanks.

There is one that everyone reads as part of training. The reason celebrity pictures are sometimes denied are because some GPs don't seem to be familiar with all celebrities. I'll admit, I'm not the greatest at this, but I would definitely recognize Drake..

Pictures of celebrities are allowed.

I would just exclude pictures of people in general, as it would invade privacy and such.
