Why don't real feminists deplore these kinds of people for warping the meaning of feminism?

Because all of the real feminists have died and third-world feminists have hijacked the movement to beg men to love their hairy armpits in 2016

Important to remember that what you guys see on "cringe" threads or subreddits is in fact the minority and that feminism as a cause is filled with a broad range of varying opinions. Kind of disgusting that the assumption is made that the majority of feminists want to attack you.

That being said, activism isn't supposed to be comfortable. If it were, we wouldn't move forward.

Unfortunately there is a select number of people here that believe feminism, transgenderism, etc. is about being "tumblr" or forcing yourself to be different, so they resort to describing those types of threads or subreddits as being "cringe" or "cancer".

I think a lot of it roots back to that video that was linked earlier (which was hard to watch) and it led to a bunch of people using it as a way to generalize what all people of that minority are like, and so now we see posts like "all feminists think they're superior!! all feminists think white people are racist! all feminists want privileged rights!!" etc. etc., but yet when someone says "all white people are racist" those same people go crazy, lol.

nah i'm just using it as an example of what some people call "tumblr", as i've seen both described in that way

most of the post is about feminism tho

The two go hand in hand, though, considering the current movements both have a lot to do with pushing to blur the gender line.

Because they didn't live in an Islamic culture, they think Muslims people are an oppressed Minority and they should be protected from the evil white CIS male.
Honestly tho force feminist to wear a hijab and do everything Islam says a woman should do, then you will see them protesting it.

Also we are still in a point in time where being gay is still not just something a majority of people will say "ok" to. Even today if someone asks if you're gay, even if you casually answer with "yes" people still ask questions like, "When did you come out?" "How did you know?" "What was it like?" etc. etc. It's not just something you say in the middle of a conversation and everyone else says "ok" and then the conversation continues on.

What're you talking about?

Its not even that big a deal now, nobody goes up to people asking then how they like being gay and stuff, they just don't care.

Gay acceptance is pretty new and I'm honestly quite pleased with how most people are accommodated to it at this point.

Because sometimes it's easier for people to accept themselves after they come out to others as they find it easier to come to terms with...also the awareness is not just to try and get rid of homophobia, it's to possibly help others come out if they are struggling with themselves (ex. there are dozens of videos of people coming out because Tyler Oakley, a dominant figure in the LGBT community, is an inspiration for them).

1) Also we are still in a point in time where being gay is still not just something a majority of people will say "ok" to. Even today if someone asks if you're gay, even if you casually answer with "yes" people still ask questions like, 2) "When did you come out?" 3) "How did you know?" "What was it like?" etc. etc. 4) It's not just something you say in the middle of a conversation and everyone else says "ok" and then the conversation continues on.

5) When people are born they are considered to be straight unless they say otherwise. It's an unfortunate truth but it's the reality we live in, and that's why people are compelled to come out.

Plenty of people accept themselves but who doesn't want acceptance from society? From their parents? From their friends? Anyone who says they don't care about that is BSing themselves because one of human's natural desires is to be in the majority and to be accepted. That's why people are compelled to come out on public sites like Facebook and Twitter and etc., because it's not just something that you say to yourself and then suddenly everyone you know understands.

  1. That's exactly what the majority of people would say, we literally do not care.
  2. Why the **** would anybody care when somebody came out?
  3. Idk if they feel a sexual attraction to the male anatomy then I'm sure they're gay, right?
  4. That's exactly what happens, if someone would even decide to just blurt out, "oh yeah I'm homosexual" in the middle of a conversation.
  5. Well no ****ing ****, what are we supposed to run some testing? So much cringe in this singular post it's like r/CringeAnarchy

honestly man it seems like you're discriminating more than anyone else here tbh though
