You should never listen to music via headphones for 5 hours straight and should be taking breaks while listening, leaving you plenty of time to charge it.

if you're in a situation where you'll be using it for 5 hours or more away from your house then you most likely will have an easy way to store and charge it (car, backpack, etc)

Case allows a 24-hour charge to be stored and a little 15 minutes of charging gives you 3 hours of use.

You also have Siri access with these, granting you the ability to use GPS features such as asking where a place is or requesting directions, making phone calls, picking what song to play, changing volume, etc, all while leaving your phone in your pocket.


Also Crono, you realize the headphones come with the phone right? It's not like people have to buy them separately.

Those are the wired headphones, not the Airpods, which is the one that we (and you) are talking about, oh and did I mention its $160?

Ahhh, the way they showcased it and everyone is complaining made it seem like they got rid of wired headphones completely.

So if you get wired headphones why is everyone complaining lol?

They can't afford it, plain and simple

I have a macbook pro and i will tell you having docks for it piss me off. Now for a phone to always have an adaptor... that is absolutely annoying.

The Earpods Apple ship with their phones aren't great quality and I don't think most people want to be carrying two adapters around with them.

Why is it so difficult just to include the universal standard for connecting audio devices?

now you need 3 different parts just to plug headphones in. Sounds like a valid reason to complain to me. You need 2 small cords, one of which is a tiny ass 2 cm cord that you better not misplace because if you do, it's gone for good, and your actual headphone cord. They're just trying to force complications so that people blow more money on the higher-tech stuff that many people might not want to pay for.

The mere fact that you do have to charge these things in order for them to work is a major hassle considering most people have never used these things before.

If there is no external audio jack then they might as well get rid of wired headphones completely.

Now you're going to have to get some homologous of adapters in order to still use your wired headphones AND charge.

This entire design is just made to screw over everyone who doesn't have Air Pods.

There's no more innovative design or function to these phones anymore smh. It's bland and unnecessary change, not innovation.

I mean what do you think? They are small. Do you not understand how batteries work? They don't have big ass battery packs in them. They are pretty much a bit bigger than the regular EarPods.

Did you expect them to have 10 hour used? You must not like how Bluetooth and batteries work. The fact that it only takes 15 mins to charge and can last 3 hours is crazy good.

If there's a case that holds a 24 hour charge for them, then charging doesn't seem like an issue at all.

As compared to just having wired headphones that don't require anything, that isn't worth it IMO.

Look, there isn't anything wrong with having wireless headphones.

Everyone is just mad that Apple blatantly favors them over the extremely common wired headphones since they removed the headphone jack.

I dont get the apple haters making a big deal about the jack thing when Motorola did it since months ago and no hate was shown to it. If you can't live without headphones on, and you want them with a wire, go get an iPhone 6s

Apple controls half (or more?) of the market essentially. Motorola is no where near that. It's a huge difference. Many people have iPhones so they have every right to criticize the direction the comapny is going. No hate was shown for Motorola because no one buys a motorola.
