It's simply graphics, nothing will have difficulty converting. But can you imagine seeing your little avatar in a 3D format? That's be slick. As for everyone's custom-created uploads, that is going to be a problem.
Unless they simply make the world 3D, there won't be as much to worry about.
As for Graal 2017, we have a lot of things to think about:
Castle revamp, Guild system, Circus, Additional quests, Destiny's unexplored areas, Graal's unexplored caves (Zorbi, Gnomes, etc) More loot items, More Bugs, etc. Give me more if ye want.
Might not get everything, but these are a few of the topics I've read about all year, and the Graal developers have brought in quite a bit of player ideas over the last year, and I don't think they have much reason to ignore some of the ideas listed above.
