I vehemently disagree and think this is a bad move.

This is an incredibly vague comment and could do with clarification.

My worry is that Darlene is sort of a dinosaur (sorry) when it comes to the internet. Her style of moderation was fine maybe 15 years ago but the internet has sort of evolved into a sort of melting pot where any topic should be open for honest conversation. Darlene is a little too conservative and I fear she'll end up muting most of that.

But to borrow from a meme; prove me wrong.

literally, every one of those got closed anyway because of how stupid they are in the first place and the "who's **** is bigger?" type arguments that they turn into.

whenever they got closed (and it wasn't every one) it was mostly justified I guess. From the things I hear though I'm not sure it's gonna be the case now

There's two different points being made. Graalians never had a strict set of rules to follow, you guys all know better. The thing in question is Darlene's moderating and I guess we'll find out how that goes.
