Swapped over to the Bush Town interior and I can't tell if my entrance is too messy or not. What does everyone else think of it?

There's an interesting dichotomy I've heard... We use physical objects to build a house, but the part we inhabit is the void space between the objects.

Still got a bunch of stuff I want to try out with the exterior but I'm a bit stumped on what to do with the two lower side rooms of the interior. https://i.imgur.com/xxQuaRs.png https://i.imgur.com/k2p5flO.png |

I like to keep things simple and cozy. I could probably add more to the outside later, but it's nice. Attachment 28293 I tried to make this interior feel more like a house. I tried my best to make the carpeting look good, but I'll let you all decide if it looks decent or if it doesn't work. The fireplace is as good as it's going to get, and is a good template or example for those looking into making a fireplace themselves. Will finish the walls later. The plants are a simple and nice decoration for any house. Glad the botany place exists. The left room is simple and nice. The right room is an office with a subtle array of books on the tables. Each stack is a separate genre if you go up to them. The trophy, box of paper, and banners act as an achievement section. |

The words on the bookshelf don't need to be there. They just make a home look cluttered and ugly, but that's what I feel personally. People will understand whether or not more bookshelves have something on them if they read just one, that's what gives people the desire to read more around the house. "Oh, this bookshelf says something, let me see what the others say." As a suggestion, I'd put a sign in the middle of each room that tells players what each bookshelf says. Like what you'd see in NPC houses all over Graal. I love the small details and items on shelves and stuff. That's always good to look at. At the top where the balloons are, get some bushes and greenery there to make it look like another area of the house, and put those balloons on top of them. It looks bad with the balloons just chilling in the darkness up there. Quote:
Again, love the little details like the hay and bushes and stuff. Bricks and Lego blocks are not a good pick for code furniture, though. Bricks can be better utilized, and the legos make absolutely no sense in this theme. I suggest keeping it simple and using something as cheap as boxes. I think that would make a lot more sense and would look great. To me, bricks are NOT a code furniture. They're more special than that. |
I updated my house shortly after the 10th anniversary event came out. Feedback/suggestions are welcome!
https://i.imgur.com/EIPZxdW.png I've been gradually adding the flowers as the shop rotates. https://i.imgur.com/MsNG4ud.png The inside has every single old and new Japanese Nexus food item (got/had them all myself). Some are under the walls on the conveyor belt, which actually does move the plates! Since I'm editing anyway, I wanted to thank Dread for all his help with designing this. |
