Moving and staying away from the person will usually prevent you from being hit by someone who's lagging and, if they are faking it, there is no chance you will be hit since they are too far away. Also, strafing doesn't pose a large advantage, you move up. Anyone can move up and then move to the side quickly to try and hit you so i don't see how that is a "trick".

Far away, close up, middle range it doesn't matter. They will always maneuver around you using the key holding technique and hit you. It tends to get very annoying.

An iPad actually has a larger screen then the FB window. So, if this is a significant advantage then iPads would have to be segregated from guild spar as well. People never complain about iPads in guild spar so why is there any complaint over a pc's slightly larger screen size.
I saw a picture of the iPad screen today and yes it is bigger and an unfair advantage for guild spar and such. Nonetheless it is still an iDevice and has the same controls as the other iDevices.

So what's the advantage behind having less lag. People are always in spar arena complaining about how they lost to someone because of that persons lag. If anything, based on what many sparrers bitch about, this is a disadvantage.
You have a nice speed advantage against a person who actually has a decent connection. You're always going to have a disadvantage when sparring a person with a terrible connection.

The only problem i see so far is the connection/lag. Other than that, the PC players are equivalent to the iDevice players. Sure the PC controls seem a bit smoother but that doesn't make the PC players stronger than the iDevice players. Also, the iPad is pretty much similar to the PC version, nonetheless. Only difference is the controls.

This 'technique' is rarely accessible due to hardware issues with more keyboards, unless it is a gaming one, or a high end keyboard. Secondly, when someone moves like that, they move at a 90 degree angle, setting them up for an easy hit, it has its ups and downs, I have no idea why you are so fixated on the smallest of gimmicks that 50% of PC players don't even use.

Hardware issues? I see people use it all the time. It's not an easy hit if the person doing it knows how to use it.

You are absolutely and unquestionably ******ed if you think that connection speed has anything to do with your in-game FPS.
