All this doesis cause lag, these "helpers" obviously wouldn't help anyone when Player Relations isn't hiring, i dont know if they know that saying "PM ME FOR HELP!!1" is getting there selve's no were, its obvious staff arn't going to pick people saying that.

I dont understand why Era did this. 1. We have plenty of people pretending to be helpers in start which leads to lag. 2. Most of them can't even answer a question correctly without asking for help them selves. It would've been a much better idea to not announce this, because that way Era can find LEGIT players who help others not because they want to be a admin, but because they want to help others in need. Also aside from helping others why not hire other players with specific talents such as GFX and LAT? This "help the community" thing wont help Era at all. It will just lead to just lead to people with horrible helping skills and not enough experience with the game to get hired.

"Totally unrelated" is not true. Where I said Xertic got hired because he posted and showed his graphics, he was hired as a part of the Graphics Team, not Player Relations.

Also, they made themselves known by doing what they enjoyed to do. Like I said towards the end of my post, you have to actually work to get to the place or position you want to get to. You can't just wait until the last minute and say "Oh, yeah I'm good enough for this job even though I haven't done anything for it for the past 4 months."

I deleted those parts. You do have a point; Chaotic and Lavaclaw were in Eos and all of Jatz's gangs.
As for Loki, I had never heard of him until he became staff, so I just imagined he was unknown until he became staff.
Lastly, yes, I guess I was pretty 'well-known' but I just didn't like to think myself of 'well-known'. (I also don't like how I started as Player Relations.. I wish I had come quieter so that I wouldn't be a 'super well-known staff member'.

Did you guys hear anything Marker just said? He said they're not showing favortism and if they cjoose people close they know he/she will make a great PR, not because they're friends it's because they know them. Meaning they know they'd be great at that job man, just stop complaining about the new hiring idea, you won't complain if you were recomended in the first place. So please listen to what people are saying. :D
