I love this thread because the title is 100% true.

There should be a Call of Duty Console.
It only plays Call of Duty games.
This way, we don't get s**t on our Playstation's and Xbox's and Nintendo consoles.

I don't know why y'all hate it so much I could just play it all day. Noobtubes are so much fun, lag compensation is even better, and best of all the way they keep it the same every year just keeps me coming back for more. Can't forget to mention the little children that I love to keep company with in every lobby.

It's not terrible, just repetitive. Level up, prestige, repeat, next game, level up, prestige...

Its successful, but for more casual gamers that dont really care about the kind of stuff must of us do.

I liked the way Bungie did things with Halo. They mixed things up every game. However, when 343 Industries started heading toward the Call of Duty route with killcams (not even good ones at that), classes, and such, it didn't feel like Halo. Titanfall is a new kind of shooting experience, Running on walls, Titan combat, unique weapons, and so forth. I haven't looked at Ghosts yet, but I'm guessing it's going to be the same old thing.

That's true as well, but remember the fact that they play with modified rules and even for low end competitive play on League Play for BO2 they have modified rules. I think they even realized some of the stuff is BS

God damn, the earlier pages of this thread exemplify why I don't play console FPS anymore.

Personally, I love the CoD series. I'm not saying that it isn't the same thing every game, though they add some fun content each year. The entire enjoyment comes from being able to just relax, shoot some people, and sometimes talk with a friend at the same time. Call of Duty is popular largely because of how simple and easy to play it is.

I wish CoD was as relaxing as Rockson puts it.

Ghosts is rated a 6.2/10 on the Gamestop website. I also saw in an article that they recycled the ending of MW2 when they make all the money in the world. I know no one gives a **** about the campaign, but the fact they used that scene again was being cheap.

Yup its getting not so good reviews from some places. Dont use ign's because its a load of bollocks. Use gametrailers who seem to be in my eyes the best reviewing gaming website out their (although angry joe beats all)

I never was a fan of big time rating sites like IGN and IMDb. IGN gave Call of Duty Ghosts an 8.8 while the fans gave it a 4.8.

Call of Duty is not a bad franchise. It's just an overrated franchise.

Saying a video game sucks because it's just as repetitive as it's predecessors (Which made Call of Duty successful like it is today) is a pretty lame excuse, Especially when Pokemon, *Insert sport game*, and the New Super Mario brothers franchises have all been doing the exact same method that Call of Duty has been doing and not one person has back talked against it except for Call of Duty.

Call of Duty's significant differences are minor but can be very appreciated at times. A few examples, from my perspective/opinions: Modern Warfare 3's Specialist package system was actually pretty cool, Black Ops and Black Ops 2 had a very entertaining Zombie mode that still has some value to this day, Some of the new killstreaks in-between these games are fun to use, and the ability to select your own Killstreaks instead of using a forced killstreak set (Ala Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty World at War, though they were very good First Person Shooters at their time) was a very nice addition that catered to the Call of Duty players pretty well.

Just because i like Call of Duty games does not mean i'm a defender of every decision they pull out on these games. I like Call of Duty a lot because it was fast paced and running smoothly in 60FPS. Combined with customization systems and some modes that might you like, Call of Duty was pretty big for what it is and spawned a whole new fanbase dedicated to the franchise (Regardless of whether or not little children are playing it right now and cursing others in the game when they get angry).

The only reason it's "Repetitive" according to most people is because they are still using modified/improved iterations of the IW Engine.

My thoughts exactly. For those of you that have played halo 4 you probably know what we're talking about. The new halo was basically what CoD 100 would be if they ever got there. They ripped off everything with classes and took away aspects that made Halo unique.

I like CoD titles because of the small maps and competitive features (GBs and such). I don't like Battlefield because of the large teams and large maps. IW seems to have gotten Battlefield and CoD mixed up with the oversized maps and all.
