Perhaps we should put up a donation option so people like you who feel so strongly about this can give us the motivation to spend all our time online working, and have no fun. You are correct, it is a job. One we are not monetarily paid for. So, we get benefits. If you don't like that system, complain to the GraalOnline management. But, know that its damn sure that if there were no benefits for staff or payment, nobody would take a job on Graal.

I dislike playing on the PC servers due to a lack of playercount, corruption of staff, and PC servers contain an entirely different community which I'm not all that interested in getting involved in.

But you can't take a job SOLELY based on the benefits you get. Sure, that's a factor, but so is the fact that, when you're staff, you're gonna get a ton of PMs. I'm just tired of staff complaining about it, like they never thought about that before they applied. They all did, and yet they have the tenacity to complain about it anyways, about a job THEY applied for and about the Pros and Cons they were aware of long before they applied. Everyone knows this server is mainly a 17 and under player base, and yet the staff think they're dealing with mature people. LOL!

We aren't complaining about the amount of PMs we receive; we are explaining to you why our responses are sometimes delayed or nonexistant. If you really expect us to work all the time, you are unreasonable. A better solution, rather than having current staff slave, would be to hire more PR to help. I believe we will do just that.

I NEVER said staff should respond to all pms or not take breaks. Hell, I wouldn't be able to respond to pms and I barely keep up with the ones I get as a player. I'm just saying, and will always say, if you're doing something non relevant to your job on your staff account. You should still have staff duties such as answering a simple question instead of calling people idiots and ignoring them. Understand this point

I try to answer every PM I get, however a majority of them are "hi" "sup" and "cat". For the most part I reply to these messages, but sometimes I am very busy answering questions, and I won't reply. If you have a legitimate question, just send it to me in your first PM, so we can just skip the pointless niceties.

Get this in your head. They don't have to always be working on their staff account. And like PiX said before some don't have iDevices so they always have to use their staff account for iEra

Who is calling people idiots? Certainly even if we are off stafftag and don't have but a few PMs stacked up, we will probably answer your question just to be nice. However, we are not required to. I understand that you think we should be obligated to answer certain things stafftagged or not. To a certain extent I think most staff feel the same way.

That's the kind of thing you need to report to us by emailing [email protected]. Don't assume we all treat players with disrespect. If you see staff being disrespectful or abusive, let us know, because PRA cannot watch everybody all the time.

I know not all staff are like this. As I said, I commend most of our staff for being effective. It's just some are lacking and it brings down the image of the whole team. As the saying goes, a team is only as strong as its weakest link. And with all the firings, quitting, ect, it just looks terrible.

I am not making a lash at staff, just voicing my opinion, and the opinion a few others share. I love and enjoy having most of our staff. But it only takes a few to ruin the fun

I love making sure the players know they are valued and respected. When, in any of my statements concerning HW or Auron did you find that I can't handle players spam, annoying or even harassing msgs? I was simply stating that just because a staff member doesn't answer questions right away doesn't mean they are a bad staff member hehe HW and Auron work hard, end of story :)

Auron is, and always will be a big role model of mine on iEra. He handles sticky situations well and deserves respect. If 15 people want to vote me and say im "A good admin", take a second to think that i learnt pretty much everything from auron.

As for the rest of the posts lately:
"Tink! NOT Working" was my nick name all day today... Now, let me make this really clear... I LOVE helping players with issues, I love knowing that they are smiling again. I don't mind those hundreds of "Can I have your doll" or "Can you grab my statue"... I'm honored that some players would even want a doll or statue of me... Having said that... I was up at 3am this morning dealing with an issue, finally was able to go to bed when my phone rang and I was being called into work (irl). Entirely exhausted but wanting to see my friends and especially PiX I stayed logged on iEra as the "Tink! NOT Working"... I got hundreds of msgs of course even tho my nick name was clearly typed and I read every msg and responded to almost all that were sent to me... Generally, (I won't speak for everyone) staff do this because we want to help players, not see them abused or miss-treated. We appreciate being able to help others and see that they are having a fun online experience. I have witnessed utter abuse, immaturity, greedy, selfish, arrogant and complete disregard for players and I despise it... Most of you that know me, know you can msg me anytime. I may respond slow at times but I will eventually get back to you...

The admins I love working with:
PiX (No joke, best all around staff I have ever met. It's why I absolutely adore him)
Auron (Known him for years and know he's a caring and kind and in control)
HomelessWitch (An amazing lady. Doing the job of PR, LAT and GFX)
Snk & Wdm (The most amazing twins one would ever meet)
Milkshake (Always so helpful and so attentive)
Jatz (Funniest guy! but when it's time, he puts his foot down and keeps control)

I won't go on... But yea! I am a PR and I do get to see behind the scenes, so I'm blessed in that regard but trust me, we're all players of Graal and I agree, one or even a few can ruin that experience so quickly... <3

Let us look at both sides of the coin.

From the players' perspectives, many of us want to be an admin. It can be for many reasons, like to help improve a game we enjoy. This also causes a certain degree of jealousy on our parts. This is the reason why players jump at any small mistakes an admin make. It is because we feel that we can do a better job if only we are given the chance to. And it makes some players envious that certain admins are given this special chance to but are not treasuring it as much as they would.

However, on the other hand, what players do not know is what goes behind the screen. We do not know how hard admins have to work just to maintain Era functionality, to continuously release updates for players. All players see is a final product. For example, release of a new shop. But what we do not see is how much time and effort it takes for admins to make it possible.

I guess on this part, players need to know how to be grateful as these admins work to make Era better for us, without a single cent earned. Yes this is a job for them, but they do not profit from it. What makes them go on is the belief that they want to make give players an enjoyable gaming experience. So players need to cut the slack on admins and be more appreciative as when we are playing the game, admins actually have to work instead.

A bold suggestion on my part. It is not easy for admins to work hard but yet have to face negative criticisms. But it is never possible to gain full 100% approval or recognition in everything we do. Hence, in face of criticisms, admins should take a look at whether they are constructive and also try to take a step back to understand the players' point of view. If you feel that you have done your very best, be proud of your work and stay strong. There are always people out there, players, your fellow co workers, your manager who can see your efforts and appreciate everything you have done.
