was the auction system ever updated?

Why is guild chat disabled in the auction room? I'd love to be able to read and send messages without leaving and entering every time.

Submitted an old halloween hat for auction just now and it said the starting bid would be 0 gralats. I also had to pay nothing to submit it. That's not the weirdest part though, you can't even click on the display. Nothing happens. I hope everything goes alright and it actually sells for something because if I get nothing back for it then that'll suck so much.

This should be fixed going forward. Gave you 5K for your troubles and yes the item does get returned if it doesn't sell.

Someone explain to old MC how the auction system works. Can I make monies?

A few auctions ago I got my hat submitted
The day of the auction they will start and everyone participating will bid for the hat I think it goes up by 100 when it’s in the thousands then 10 thousand it goes up by 2500g

Apart from submissions it's pretty self explanatory. Every sunday there's a set of 6 auctions with one happening each 4 hours. You bid on hats people have submitted and whoever is the last bidder/highest bidder gets it. There are 9 player hat/accessory slots and one 10th slot reserved for a special set which is usually a hat + accessory/bomb. This special item gets rotated out to something new each 2 weeks.

How submissions work is a bit iffy right now. As you might already know, you have to talk to the NPC in the room where the items get displayed. But the thing is you can only submit your item at a random time the day before the actual auction, aka saturday and only 54(?) players make it in + the window between the first and last submisson only lasts a handful of seconds since countless people wait in the auciton house to submit their items. There isn't really a notificaion or anything which tells you when you can submit your stuff so it's just luck. There was a new system being worked on which should hopefully make it better and fairer but I'm not sure if it's still a thing or how it's going.

Why is it that some hats have recolours that can’t get submitted? I tried auctioning the pink G cap from Christmas 2018 and it wasn’t accepted, yet I’ve seen the green, orange, and yellow variations get in.

Trying this week, I even got to the "pay deposit" screen before it told me all submissions were filled. Really, really frustrating. Please at least add a queue for the submissions that prevents doubling up in this way (first come first serve), if not a revamped queue system where people with hats to submit actually get to submit them xD
