It just expands to there but they are also Non-Player-Controlled. Even a treetop in Graal as image is a NPC.

I can't believe there is a big debate over what is an NPC. LOL. To clarify, as most you already know, an NPC, is any script in a level.

Not players. Any script. NPC really isn't a very good term, considering the fact that most NPCs are manipulated by players. Therefore making it Player-Controlled.

Yes also players. Or how else do you want to explain them? Players where also scripted. I don't think it's you irl running around.

Also every player got weapons. They where scripted and are getting "carried" by the player. So the player is also bringing in scripts to the level

Players are built in-functions of the game. If players where made with custom movement and some other systems then they are NPCs. Built in scripts are not NPCs, that would make levels NPCs, NPC-Servers would be NPCs and everything else.

I want a spooky quest. Vampires, bosses, all the gewd stuff we want.

Actually this is not based on Graaloween or the discussion we had before, but maybe some interactive NPC´s. Why should they all stand around 24/7? Let them move, get them a small make up for Graaloween and give them an edited, spooky look.

I stand here all day and do nothing. Life as an NPC sucks.

I feel like this would be easy and festive.

Trick-or-Treaters in houses all around Graal, each bearing some spooky dialogue. Some (the treats) will give you a few gralats, while some (the tricks) will take some gralats from you! All just a simple game of chance to keep people occupied and having fun trying to guess the tricks and the treats. Plus, every NPC should wear a costume for the occasion! Sounds like fun to script, and also fun for the Graalians! Critique?

This is a great idea, except instead of gralats they should incorportate the Holiday Tokens that were introduced around Easter, which I haven't seen used in a while. Then, post-Halloween, items can be added in the Holiday token shop. Maybe in the tokens shop you could buy a pumpkin that glows or candy that you can give out? :o

We're starting on basic stuff today (i.e. trick or treat and decorations)

I would like to see the "BOO" emote used in trick or treat (if trick or treat is on this graaloween), maybe get a special hat? or bonus tokens for use in DrDoctor's idea?

Boo emote has been added. 12,000 gralats. YOU GUYS FREAKING SUCK. EPIC FAIL. I'd have to farm all month for that. That emote should be free, or earned by a quest.

Umm unfortunately I must agree...sure nobody is forcing us to buy it but the price does seem a little drastic, considering the Easter emote was free, this is disappointing.

Npcs give out candy, and when we collect them all we redeem them for a hat or something :D

Make a trick-or-treat bag for us, and put it in our inventory for free or let us do a simple quest for it. Then, drop candy all over Graal like the Easter Egg event. And whoever has the bag on can only pick the candies up ^_^.

Yeah that would be cool, i definitely think they should have candy as use for "tokens" like the easter eggs.

Pumpkin gani, pull out pumpkin and sit down next to it
Lots of other things, but they are mostly events (O.o) and new areas

how about an underworld dungeon? You would be able to enter it trough a to gate hell or something, with a few event npcs and maybe a shop in it.

Yeah pets are pretty much finished on Era. Won't be out for a while though I don't think (got bigger things planned), they do need a nice HUD though I suppose (chat based atm)

Add the top ten hats into the Crypto Place in Deadwood so that people can buy it, on the stands put the people who created the hat wearing there design and have events (games) which are related round Halloween (eg. Candy Hunt, Pumpkin hunt).
