A $20 DLC is insane!

Then again, people have paid $99 just for a couple gems in mobile games, so it isn't too far-fetched.

Needed exotic upgrade for my helmet to get to 31, was dissapointed Xur didn't sell the upgrade for my Immost Light so I decided to throw the dice and buy a helmet engram, and bam, not only was it a 36 light titan helmet, it was the Skullfort which is my favourite titan exotic for its looks, and I had been trying to get literally since the game came out. Pretty stoked, now i'm 31 and i'll probably do the raid with my crew tomorrow

I saw that you could upgrade your armor/equipment and thought it was cool so I upgraded my Suros Regime. I had not realized it would reset it back to the original form. So, I would have to spend hours and hours of doing repetitive bounties just to fully upgrade it again. Yup. That's not happening.

A new base, is already more powerful than a fully upgraded old one

Can you upgrade the same exotic more than once or is one time the limit?

The upgrade is so the old exotic weapons and armor are as powerful as the new ones. It's a one time upgrade to get them in line with the new ones that just came out. Also upgrading your exotic armor will get you 36 light instead of 30.

Alright, well I guess that isn't too brutal. I'll just have to focus on exotics I really will be using as main weapons rather than just randomly upgrading them like I did before which would be the Suros Regime and Ice Breaker.

I didn't read all 46 pages, but Destiny sucks. Locked content on the disc, barely any story, false advertising. All you do is shoot and defend your ghost while he de-codes some computer or some crap. Oh, that locked content on the disc? That locked content is going to be the NEW DLC. Bungie says on you reach 20+ hours, it will be a whole new experience. The only new thing is grinding on these daily strikes for XP and MAYBE you might get an exotic. That's only a small sample of why Destiny is probably the biggest let-down of 2014. And apparently the new DLC is just one of the same maps with bigger mobs. And this Crota thing? Seems like an enlarged, stronger, and bigger sword Knight.

Yet every other game is the same thing but in destiny you get either VS each other or VS Mobs.

Just crying babies that want everything unlocked right away. Go back to CoD and play the same mutiplayer map just like Destiny, everyone expects so much but in the old days playing soccer was fun and that was on repeat everyday stop crying and sell the game.

It was advertised as sooo much more. But after lvl 20 all you do is grind, playing the same maps over and over, strikes and all that crap. We expect so much because it was advertised as so much. For grinders though, this is a fine game because it's just a grind-fest. But for people expecting a story and actual content, this game is terrible.

They have to stop with the whole Dark Below DLC requirements. This is the second time I've been locked out of a daily for not having the DLC. I'm missing out on ascendant materials for both my accounts. I can't imagine this being the only week people will be locked out of the strike/nightfall either.

EDIT: I just noticed those *bleep*ers removed cryptarch engram as a reward for Tiger Strike and placed it over to the DLC Lv. 26 Vanguard Roc instead.

theoretically, is it possible for someone to make a lawsuit for this?
They marketed it with content that they ended up taking away from people who did not pay for additional dlc. Removing our ability to play the game the same way we were earlier unless we continue to pay is a ridiculous scam

^This. If you don't like it, why not just sell it to GameStop or a friend who do wants it? Destiny is pretty fun. Granted, I don't play a lot on a daily basis but its a really good game. What you guys favorite class btw? Mines have to be the Titan. Trying to get him to 20 lol so I can start the endgame content.
