I also enjoy Zone's events, although they mostly consist of HnS and Rambo, it's pretty entertaining.

Pity, the only way to keep players is events:(

read the topic of this thread before you post please. This isn't a thread to be trashing on Zone, it's made to actually give them positive feedback.

1. They always do that on classic and era
2. They aren't "*ay" everyone likes gralats and hats
3. Zone was only made 3-4 months ago. Don't expect more space when they don't even have much content
4. Again it's only been 3-4 months since in app store
5. Everybody in this forum can help with that. But... they don't.

Also to people saying "Zone's too much like era!" of COURSE it's gonna be like era, I mean the only weapons zone has is GUNS. Really guys.
I'm done here

What i like about iZone:
•Missions
•friendly staff
•bomb spar is fun (when people actually play it)
•conquest
•newer server, more potential
•alliances have larger capacities than ally lists + their own page

actually the big alliance thing makes it even harder to start a gang than it is on era.... idk if u have tried to start a gang but it isnt ez >.< I think they should save that big alliance system for when we have more planets & a larger playercount. If u havent already noticed that obsidian and dark legion dominated as an alliance and both have over 1000 hours while the other 40 something squads on that top 50 list struggle to even reach 100.

Getting players to join is so hard in zone. Most of them are either now in the Supreme Society alliance or have ranks in others.

Bomb Spar and PK are the best! :P

Meph 03-31-2013 05:26 PM

Since my PC is down, temporarily disabling my iEra Guns Admin position, I've decided to give Zone a shot.

I'm in the process of getting used to the controls and adapting to 360-degree shooting, but here's my run-down of Zone so far:

  • Death Match kicks ass. I can play it all day; I just wish more people attended regularly.
  • Classes; I know PC Zone had it, but I never really tried to get into it. I like it- each class having different perks makes things different for me. Still in the process of figuring out which class works best for me.
  • Bomb Spar- Love the way they took Cyberjoueur's old flash bomberman game and emulated it to Zone. I haven't really played it because I don't want a Bomy following me around. If there's a way to disable the Bomy, let me know. I just don't like the idea of trying to PK with a Bomy on my tail.
  • I enjoy how the server is pretty much a continuously-running event. Kicks ass; Unfortunately, it's probably the reason why the playercount is taking a hit- Most players don't like repetitive. Personally, I love it. Then again, I used to put in 10-hour PK Arena sessions when it was first released on PC Era.

I haven't yet examined the 'missions' aspect of Zone, so I could be wrong. I joined the server and thought: "PK PK PK".

So far, so good. No complaints yet.

Also to people saying "Zone's too much like era!" of COURSE it's gonna be like era, I mean the only weapons zone has is GUNS.

It sort of annoys me as well when people make such comparisons.
The only parallel between fighting on Era and fighting on Zone is that it's done with projectiles; and with it, the tat-for-tat balance of dodging to shooting.

How the balance is dictated is entirely different between the two servers-- Take it from a guy with over 10 years Era experience. The fact that Zone has 360-degree shooting range to be handled at the user's discretion makes a world of difference in regard to raw PK-etiquette.

On Era, one is limited to 4-directional shooting, which provides both a "safe haven" in diagonals, and a barrier created by more concentrated bullets in one direction due to the limitation. It's this that offender must overcome to get within range to land a hit; through a combination of utilizing spread, faking, and pressuring. On Zone, however, the player can control roughly where his projectile will go; and because his opponent exercises the same freedom, is always in range to be hit. Faking and pressuring are utilized in an entirely different manner.

The addition of different classes on Zone opens up the possibility of more variable styles in the way players handle their game, on an almost necessary level; because one class may outperform another in an undistorted fight.

While having Era experience helps tremendously on Zone--due to being seasoned at dodging projectiles-- It's definitely got its own twist. It's kinda like playing Webkins' Ant Mania Picnic game; Click Here for an example-- you'll be good at it, but you'll still have to make adjustments.
