I'm not trying to fight about it I just don't want to see you fall into the trap of hiring unseeded staff too early.

Well, lets deal this once and for all...
The reasons why we have hired 3 GPs will be listed below, please read the carefully and insert it in your mind once and for all:
-We need forum admins for our private forum. All gps that have been hired have gold accounts so we had nothing to loose, instead staff of other positions will concentrate more on their job rather than this job.
-Gps are needed to review and contact applications'
-Gps are responsible in posting important updates on graalians, our private forum, as well as all group chat created on Skype.
-All gps are very experienced and know much about organising servers and since they do have a gold account they can help greatly.
-The gps already hired will be responsible for the advertising that will happen gradually through Facebook, forums, graal etc.
If you do not find the reasons good enough, we are too sorry to not reach your expectations but this is the way we will keep things :)

Graal Police are a team of staff on a playerworld who enforce the rules and maintain order on the server. There is no need for them on a development server, the point still stands. You say you have nothing to lose, you have your reputation. To me it sounds like a stereotypical wannabe iPhone server.

I've seen so many servers follow the theme of what your trying to do and achieve, all good servers really need a well thought out plan. From what has been said the server doesn't have one and doesn't seem to haves anything special to really differentiate itself from other severs, I hope I am wrong but I really cannot see this server been able to attract some of the few players who play graal PC.

Even though the server is still being developed we do want to become a iOS server. This is a very long-term goal but yes if ''wannabe iPhone server'' is the way you call it i i will have to agree :D However, i will have to disagree with you on one point... Graal Amazon is quite different to most servers. The theme is that every new player will be a lost sailor reaching an island... Most of the island will be jungle but the island will develop gradually as player count increases and players become more experienced. There will be quests and possibly careers. I am really sorry but i dont find any other server to have such a theme... Delteria is the closer it gets.

Well of course not the sailors and island and such but the general ideal f having quests, mounts, alliances and general stuff like that. Of course it's no exactly the same but neither is zone or era however people still complain about them been so identical. My point was mainly directed at the fact that the most important thing to do before but in a server is to have a plan instead of just making it up as you go along; which is exactly what sounds like is going on.

My plan seems to be the same from the time i posted the thread until now :) Way to go jumping into conclusions!

I don't real feel like getting into an argument about this, I can't see the server going anywhere and you as the staff team should have a clear direction of where you want to go. I hope you can prove me prove but I highly doubt it, I wish you the best of luck however ^_^

What plan? I hate to burst your bubble here but having the setting of a desert island and the idea of quests, careers is a start but is no where near detailed enough to actually go anywhere.

More detail will be added later on the development of the server, i find it pretty straight-forward that one can't jump into conclusions that everything is achievable. We do not want to promise things that might not happen and i find this reasonable enough...

You should plan a server in serious detail before releasing it, I know you might want to show off your server but you've missed major details in planning. The server has no point.

This server idea has been attempted several times before the foremost I can call to mind being Oasis. I've also seen better servers, in organization, theme, and whatnot fail. From what has been displayed on this thread, you aren't going to be getting anywhere fast.

I'd recommend that first, you fix your staff team. As said several times before, GPs are not needed on a server this early in development. GP stands for Graal Police. The duty of Graal Police is to police something, basically deal with playerbase issues. Y'all don't even have a playerbase. Maybe look into transferring them into an Idea Management Team, a Storyline Creating Team, or an Advertisement Coordination Team. However, they shouldn't be GPs. You're using the wrong terminology, because what your "GPs" are doing, isn't what GPs are supposed to do.

Secondly, do some development before bringing it to the public. If you talk big words but haven't even got a rough sketch to show, this happens. Having worked on several UC servers, I've learned that you don't go to the public unless you've either, almost finished the server, or got some amazing things to show.

Thirdly, get this thread deleted and clean up your act. Your presentation is a mess and the way you handle the situation is repulsive. Sure you put a few smilies, and speak cheerfully, but your overall attitude is condescending and you refuse to listen to potential players.
