Skin or attachments will give the server a chance to keep the weapon count in general low ,there for you will be able use less guns and all will have different stats ,as a player would be able to buy a gun from a random gun shop in the basic stats but when you craft the stats and skin will change, would be able craft skins,attachments,maybe new abilities(for melees).
As much as you craft your weapon as rareress it becomes and gets expensive ,(providing money for the server)

It would be cool if you could craft tools for jobs that last longer. For example, if you could craft a gold pick axe that lasts longer than the normal one. Or craft a big jar that holds two bugs instead of one. :D

Also basing would be more interesting if you could craft gun attachments like a longer barrel that does more damage but reduces accuracy. Or some thing that increases fire rate but reduces damage.

Attachments for guns abilities for melees that would be cool.
Attachment such as ,Long barrel etc.
Abilities such as ,switch hand,put on back,trow etc.

I didn't realize the location was implemented yet :0 I thought they were going to just release it all at once

Well the cave is closed. He just meant the outside.

I thought there was just going to be some kind of thing in the menu that had a tab for crafting
