I think an improvement to the event queue system would be to persist the event queue across all events. people who are offline aren't included but maintain their place in the queue. This way everyone gets a chance.
Basically you have a single queue for all events (regardless of whether players are online). When an event is hosted, there is an opt-in flag. It takes from the front of the queue the people who are online and have opted in to the event. Everyone else maintains their place in the queue, and the players who participated in the event are moved to the end of the queue. As for new events? Why not bring back the roast? |

I can ace that Nobody answered the part where a guy who was off 4d ago won trivia Its rigged you dont want to admit it |
I find this serious. Many people waiting to join event indirectly proves that there aren't enough activities to keep them occupied.
Graal needs to implement some sort of mini games all over the maps. So people can travel around enjoy various activities and don't have to stay in one place for too long. Quote:

Somebody give this man his hideout back. |
If I was a high ranking member of the classic team I would modified the survivor event, so every player that entered the que would get warped. I would also make them immortal and just let them go at it. After a couple of them people would stop asking for events. :D

Have it ONLY show to them in order to prevent lags? Filter out people who already have the prize hat...? Laziness, sir, is why we have no warpers. |
Why not host event galores every weekend?

1. create global event queue list which includes all players.
2. trigger admittance criteria to some arbitrary number of folks at the front of queue (and part of that criteria is that they are online). 3. push everyone that made it to the end of the queue. It's literally that simple. |
its been atleast 6 months since ive gotten in an event ans when i do its chance
and i lose Ive kinda stopped caring about items I dont really need more pixels on my head |
I won hide and seek the other day.
The problem with the warpers is server activity in specific levels causing tsunamis and global warming. Just look at the 'discovery' of BC Caldera. That wasn't there before when the queue system wasn't in place. The admins must have had time to go develop new content instead of spending hours and days re-writing code to fix tremors in the force and giant waves caused by the shifting weight of graalians running from one area to another after event warpers... wait what? |
