Dude, first off you have no idea what you are talking about. I was working for both Graal Classic & Graal 2001; I majored in Video Game Design after high school on top of my prior experience throughout high school, then worked independently in high end marketing & internet engineering, software, & game design for the past 10 years. I am professionally a top-level interactive programmer, designer, writer, marketer, prophet, & entrepreneur.

The amount of players on the server is besides the point; everyone likes to flail around here scapegoating, "BUT THERE'S PEOPLE NOW!!!! AND TOOOONS OF HATS!!! NEW CHANGES!!!! AND CHING CHING!!! EVERYTHING'S DIFFERENT!"

I've got news for you, looking at how Graal is now and was then—it reeeeaallly hasn't changed much so quit lying to yourself unless you were there. There were 300 people online at any given time at the time I worked on Graal; there is not much difference from appealing to 300 people & 4,000 contrary to whatever Donald Trump expert thesis you pretend you've written about the topic.

Creativity is about having a soul; it's about passion, inspiration, skills, and yes, marketing. I am not the same 14 year old I was, so this notion that in the past 15 years I've done absolutely nothing with my life just shows how incompetent your discernment is. Graal Classic already existed; it hasn't changed much, contrary to what people think. In fact it keeps recycling a lot of the same content, scripts & graphics (although there's a lot of neat new ones), and concepts without breeching the surface. The server is beginning to look a lot like corporate Disney Land because the developers have skills, but not inspiration.

I doubt graal classic will ever expand gameplay wise etc. Seems like any idea to change gameplay is thrown into the trashbin. Either way graal seems pretty limited to what it can handle. I personally like playing but I know I'm not the only one hoping for a huge gamechanger

Case in point. Given a load of responsibility, the 13 year old degenerates into a self-absorbed and spiteful no longer suitable for the task he was originally given.

There's a lot of potential; all the energy that was put into the Halloween decorations could be put into beautifying & enchanting all of the levels permanently. You know? I don't mean to say they don't have inspiration, but yes consistent minor tweaks or "gamechangers" would be lovely without losing the basic concept or being weird.

I know it has potential in that way but we've all seen Dusty wanting to develop new gamechanging content yet it all being scrapped

Graal is a business now; it must continue to generate consistent revenue. So, big changes are likely never to occur due to Unixmad's ultimately authority on the matter, which is logical. He lives in a world. So I definitely think that the next best bet would be to begin adding a lot of the beautiful charm they have in their holiday bonanzas to tweaking things like big empty fields, long rectangular roads, rectangular cliffs, long lines of rectangular trees, making some of the houses more mystical in their outer appearance to suit the insides, etc. In this way, the cosmetics won't interfere with the business but add to it.

The game could really use some writers.

You're combing your ego by trolling the forums of a community whose average user is 15 years your younger. It's a discussion about design, so it really shouldn't be viewed in terms of winners and losers—but there's a clear loser here.

I'm totally into game lores and good written quest stories etc so that'd be awesome. I'd also love to see more details aswell but they're going in the right direction with it already

You really can't handle criticism well, can you?

Reminds me of that Stocke guy a year ago who came on here suddenly and preached about how Graal PC was better

The difference between 300 and 4000 players is huge when it involves giving hormonal teenagers administrative powers. Classic pulls 100k unique players a week. I don't care about what you've done since you were 13 and I don't care who you were at 13. The point is that nearly every 13 year old kid does not have the emotional maturity to handle that kind of power.

Also, sorry I burst your ego, but being a washed up Graal Dev jerking yourself off over what you did 15 years ago isn't all that cute.

Okay I almost respected your opinion until you lowered yourself to vermin. And FYI, I was never paid by Graal you ungrateful fool; therefore, I am not "washed up". Everything I did was to feed the public; this isn't Hollywood, so sorry to bust your bubble, but my accomplishments in life will never, ever be yours—so the next time you wanna jerk off to some jealousy & demean another person's entire existence, maybe you should ask yourself why you pathetically drowning about in a community where you haven't done **** to contribute anything of real value to enhance another's life.

I think the real issue here is that, in your own words, these forums are your entire existence. Move on.

And frankly, Imprint doesn't need me to say this, but he's helped me through some pretty tough **** in the past. For you to say that he's done nothing to contribute anything to another's life is both asinine and historically false. You can hide behind your mental thesaurus and maybe impress some people, but, like I said, it's obvious who the real loser is. And I mean that in the truest sense of what the word 'loser' actually means.

Yea you dumb**** I was responding to his ugliness with an equally general rebuke. Welcome to reality. Oh my, how strange; grow up—I don't care about your personal life with him, nor you commenting about my ego is like talking about my genitals. It's personal & inappropriate, and has nothing to do with this thread
