That's not the point.

I thought this game was supposed to embody the idea of a pokemon game not be some Ingress rip-off.

There are so many features that a real pokemon game has that this "game" is missing.

I think I'll just stop playing for now and consider this game a piece of fan-service made to appease people until a real pokemon game like Sun and Moon comes out.

1) Its a smart phone game made by nintendo

2) there is training, go to a gym and you can level up by battling

3) you can name your pokeman

4) go buy a 3ds

this app is literally made to be used while you are on the move walking around. Imagine having to stop and battle every wild pokemon you see. That would take so much time when you're already going out of your way to walk around and find these ****ers anyways. Tbh, Im glad theres no wild battling

Whatever stage this game is in, I really don't see the real connection.

Like I said, this feels more like cheap fan-service than anything.

You can't even battle between friends or other people you meet, isn't that a huge feature of the main game? Why do I have to walk all the way to my highschool just so I can fight some stupid AI?

Oh and don't even get me started with the battling system. It's atrocious. Even if this game wasn't made by Gamefreak, the developer could've at least made it so it could be at least a LITTLE bit more intuitive.

actually its a simple free game with microtransactions. pokemon brand = tons of people will download it. microtransactions = a lot of people will gib moni.

most of the stuff they sell can be earned with PokeSpot.

So I dont see a point of buying stuff.

I don't get how you would think they would release the selling point of the 3DS on another device.

I run cross country & track all year long, so I need to stay in shape during the off-seasons. I'm just going to bring Pokemon Go when my friends and I go for like 8 mile runs :D

I don't get how you think Pokemon alone is a selling point for the 3DS.

A lot of people have a 3DS but guess what, even more people have a phone.
