So I saw Travis today in the same cave and he showed me the spider.

I don't have screenshots but I can confirm it's real.

So we're clear here, there were spiders before. Like... a long time ago. It could be a troll.

No, I met him at the end of the box maze, we talked, then he showed it to me. It wat pretty damn real.

I meant that some people still have spiders in their inventory from like 4 years ago or whatever when they were here. He could be showing it, not to say he IS trolling, just that it's possible.

Didn't they like get rid of everyone's bugs a while ago, like during the Summer or something? Maybe mine just glitched and disappeared on their own, but I think I remember it happening to other people, and it was around the time when the bugs were glitching.

So it was just a freak accident? Managed to snag two so I'm overjoyed :D I think it was the only bug I didn't have

Well it certainly doesn't sound right, its probably a new feature that they spawn in caves.
