Imo, being first on the leaderboards would give you a high chance at winning the sst IF the sst consisted off the top 50 players on the leaderboard, but if anyone is able to participate, me being 1st won’t give me an advantage over someone who hasnt sparred this season, but if it’s someone like gaberial then yeah I have an advantage over him and I’d win most likely

Using me as an example is pretty dumb anyways I’m pretty much the best sparrer so I’d win either way

i'm already the best sparrer, no need to have a whole tourney fighting over who gets the honor of losing to me.

Tbh jumbo will never win (SST or GST.) Only guilds with US, VIS or Alumni members win. Exception to that is RD, a guild that I basically co-owned lmao

Not necessarily. You’ve got Dante, Brett, Brandon, Aguzo, and some others in the top 50 this season, some of whom may also have as good of a chance of winning as you.

+ there was probably a handful of people in the top 50 last season who could’ve handled Kaios pretty well.

those people you listed do have a chance at winning for sure, I’m saying since I’ve sparred the most I would know how people spar and how to counter it which would therefore give me a bit of an advantage.

But aguzo, brett, dante have not sparred the majority of players in top 50, and if they have they wouldn’t of sparred enough to know how they spar by memory to give the advantage. Not saying they wouldn’t win, just saying me who has sparred people in the top 50 pretty frequently would understand how they spar/give me an advantage because I know how to deal with it

Yea that makes sense. It certainly could be an advantage, but doesn’t necessarily give you much higher of a chance of winning overall. The players you’d need to worry about would most likely still be just as difficult because they’re good enough to adapt against you as well. I understand what you’re getting at though
