Don't know if I've seen this thread before. Usually there's a two-tiered approach, first why ask for gender at all? Then if you have to have people provide their gender, "Not Listed" is considered better than "Other" (as provided in the original post) by advocates.

It's an 8+ game. Boys and girls of that age are not gendered yet. If they are, their parents should be inspected for abuse.

I personally don't care what you think it is. Either Gender option should not be in the game, or people in general as Crono said "should stop bitching". Because seriously, you don't need all this **** to rp. Just say what you are (if you are rping). Otherwise outside of the rp world, you are either male or female.

Also an add on: You are gonna get a hella ton more harassed if you decide to put in a text box "Rabbit Queen" or something like that because people are like that, welcome to the real world. Let kids who don't know anything outside of Male or Female choose that. You and any other older teenager or someone who rps and has been introduced to stuff like this does NOT need to introduce younger audiences to it as well.
If kids don't know what it is, keep it that way. Let them grow up like any normal human being. thanks

No, the reason why is because then it doesn't help them. Maybe besides friends and guild. But then if little younger kids get in the guild or become friends they still get exposed to this and they don't need that. There are young kids playing this game, my 10 year old sister is in a guild that roleplay (not okay with it) but whatever. Nothing needs to happen, these older people just need to get over themselves and deal with the correct way of how graal has handled it.

It’s a game with socialization as one of the pillars, doesn’t seem so bad that people would need to talk to each other to learn more about one another. Just looking for the 10 cent solution to a billion dollar problem

The game has been fine for however long it has been with the current gender options. I don't see th need to change it.
