American servers kick you if your ping is too high

I'm thinking of running spas 12 with potato grip, full choke, kobra sight and flechette ammo with my secondary being 44 magnum with a scope (not sure what magnitude) and heavy barrel as an engineer. Does that sound like a good loadout? I most likely won't have the game nor a PS4 until after febuary (gotta get dat income tax) so I can't test it myself.

the 44 scoped is no more :/ Unless you miraculously get the veterans battlepack and the 3x scope for 44 is there. Also theres a fire delay on the 44 mag. I suggest compact 45, kills faster and does high damage. The spas 12 on the other hand, don't use stubby grip. Use the vertical grip since that decrease your ADS spread while moving and decreases hip fire, and stubby decreases your max ads spread. You won't be firing full auto on a pump shotgun and that's what the stubby grip is for.

aggressive are always the ones to die first since there on the front line, if there good though, they can get a lot of kills and do some good damage.
that's what I was trying to say, aggressive players get the early kills and the early deaths, so I would be waiting for a longer time then most people would for the round to end.

New patch btw, stealth jets are actually good now and attack jets are now strictly for ground as stealth jets got the hell buffed in manuverability. Also 20mm cannons on stealth jets do 20% more damage

This game is a major disappointment.
****ty servers with high latency (I get 140ms on a good day and got 60ms on BF3 both on the PS3).
Glitches, no teamwork (huge influx of CoD babbys), preordered the game and the key didn't work and after a month of arguing with their joke of a support they give a working code.
Oy vey! You want to play the game on next gen? Too bad you'll have to pay us 10$ to be able to play it again after entering this code until March 2014 (too bad it's not worth getting a console that early wth nogaemes, we don't care).

Omfg, so many of the gameeffecting bugs were patched on current gen console. Im on 360 im not lagging horribly, getting no netcode issues, crashing (i havent crashed in 79 matches, still going), trade killing (blame headshots, makes sense), spawning in walls, and submarine Attack boats. Its made a lot of progress since launch and i played since launch. There is definatly still issues with the game though.

Any idea how it is in next gen? I'm getting it today.

I'm getting owned so bad in multiplayer. Plus I think the sniper given at start for the recon class is quite bad, it needs around 3 hits for a kill in some situations.

Use the cslr4 at ranges within 120 meters. Also it should be a 2 hit kill no matter what as the lowest damage possible is 53. Unless you are facing someone with body armor, then its a 3 shot kill as body armor absorbs 15% damage. Aim for the head though, thats a one hit kill no matter what.

I've had this problem, probably around 60 times, when I shoot the person and they kill me, they show me he has 0 health and makes me rage. Is that a bug or some kind of 'stay alive on death' kind of thing?

they have more than 0 health, if you damaged him and you then get the assist you'll see how much damage you actually did to him. bf4 be mc cray cray.

dang I stopped sucking today. First match I played today I went 25 and 2. happycat 2 stronk.

it means they have less than 1% health. so they might have .9 HP instead of 1. This was in BF3 also along with nearly 90% of the stuff in BF4.

those 100 kill assists in bf3 and it not counting as a kill... now that drove me insane. at least now if you get a 100 kill assist then you get the kill.

Could be that they died right after you did

Angled Grip- reduces your first shot multiplier by 33% making your vertical climb much easier to compensate for. Recommended use on DMRs and any gun that has a huge first shot multiplier (2 or above).

Stubby grip- decreases your spread increase by 15% meaning your shots will be just a tad more tight and closer together. Also decreases the MAX ADS spread by 33%. This means your shots if in full auto will be in a smaller area, highly recommended on LMGs, carbines and ARs

ERGO grip- decreases ADS spread and hip spread by 50% on the go. Meaning your shots will take much longer to reach the maximum spread allowed on that gun while moving. Highly recommended on PDWs, carbines, and ARs.

BIPOD- useless, don't even bother with it. It takes a longer time to bring up your sights and you can't be moving while using it to get its full benefits.

Silencer- hides you from the minimap, increases your maximum hip spread while not moving by 20% and decreases your muzzle velocity by 300m/s meaning at longer ranges you will have to lead your shots more.

Laser sights- minimum hip spread decreased by 33%. Use on all guns but be warned, if you aim it at someone they will see your light so your position will be givin away.

Flashlight- once again, a useless attachment. Lights up dark places but you have to manually turn it on and off if you don't want your position to be givin away.

Tac light- the alt to a flashlight that only turns on while your aiming. Much much better as you don't give your position away until aiming and shooting.

Muzzle break- decreases vertical recoil by 25% making it easier to compensate for vertical recoil. Increases your MAX ADS spread by 30% and your ADS spread by 30% Highley recommended using a stubby grip as this counters the MAX ADS spread and puts it to 1. You will then just have to deal with more spread per shot.

Compensator- same as the muzzle break but instead of vertical recoil, it reduces your horizontal recoil by 25%. Once again, highly recommend a stubby grip with this.

Flash Hider- if you don't have any muzzle breaks or compensators on your barrel and have a naked barrel. Use the flash hider, no penalties just gets rid of that muzzle flash.

Heavy Barrel- 50% less ADS spread WHILE STANDING STILL and a 50% increase in vertical recoil. I still have trouble finding where to use this attachment. Use on hand guns though.

or you can be smart, and not pay 60$ for really bad DLCs (china rising) and only buy the good ones (second assault). You spend less money. Only real + about premium is it gives you the chance for new camos, double exp, and battlepacks.

double xp aint even worth it when the level cap is an 8th of what it was in BF3 lol.

and when you can level up quick with 200 and 100% exp bonus's.

there is no best gun, the best all around (decent at any range) assault rifle is the ACE 23, M416, and L85A2.
Best sniper rifle for range is SRR-61 and best for aggressive play is M40.

Attachments really all depends on the gun, there is no best attachment combos, the best thing to do is play around with the attachments and find what works for you.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about k/d.. Just focus on improving your skills before worrying about k/d.. Mines is 1.56 but I don't try to focus on improving it.. If you have SAR-21, trust me use it. Gun is pretty accurate its pretty much like a lazer shooter and its one beast of a gun. Attachments I use are Coyote(RDS), Laser Sight for that improved hip-fire accuracy, Heavy Barrel or Compensator(this makes this baby more stable to use) and Angled Grip. Suggest playing Rush or Domination. If you on PS3, we can play together if ya like. Actually trying to make SAR my top gun instead of M416. Haven't been on for a few weeks but I get back into BF4 when I can.

holy shiet do only play assault?

I've been mostly playing assault on infantry only game modes lately. They murdered rush for me and conquest I've never really liked, obliteration used to be cool before the timer ruined it, so yeah.

i love rush, even though its broken, it adds in the you need to use teamwork to win aspect. also obliteration is still great, its better with the timer as it promotes people to actually play the objective unlike before where no one ptfo and instead sit back and sniped and matches took over 30 min avg. One huge complaint i have about rush is the lack of attack jets. Especially on very large vehicle oriented maps like Golmud Railway, Rouge Trans (attack jet is at the end, dafuq?), Dawnbreaker (stealth jets are useless vs ground and theres loads of LAVs + a US attack heli), and Lancang Dam.

im #105 with the ACE23 assault rifle. Then theres me with my crazy med pack healing... i will ****ing hunt you down and spam you with med packs if i see a flashing cross over your head.

no, KDR does not really matter in battlefield. Winning trumps all stats.

I wasn't able to play as much when the game came out because of all the bugs, and switching to PC made the game a little bit more challenging
