What's with the "if they do bad we should all do bad" attitude on here?

Uhm, it is Stroseria. I believe you were calling people out for "not being able to read", so maybe you're the hypocrite here. And that's not true. Many of my staff are extremely talented and like to alternate between two skills (example, scripting and levels, and graphics and ganis). There's not really anything wrong with that and it's working great. The project is well underway, so I don't really know what you're basing these insults off of. I'm not really interest in starting an arguement in this thread with you, either, unless you have something valid to bring to the table.

Like I said, there was a bit of minor confusion but it's been taken care of. "People" is incorrect. I suppose you can say Cigam got the "run around" but it wasn't intentional or because we're just trying to mess with him. And thank you for your personal invitation to post in my own hiring thread.

Hello MysticalDragon, I don't believe we've met. My name is iNana. I don't remember anyone going on your "LOOK DELTERIA GOT RECOGNIZED OMG OMG" thread, so why would you come attack a place where we're trying to do business? There is no need for this stupidity, and frankly you put a bad name on Delteria. When you start to make your decisions based on your personal emotions, rather than based on what is good for the server, that's a problem. I don't know what position you hold on Delteria, but apparently it's "high up" which makes the server look bad when you're acting childish. The reason I told cigam that we weren't sure on his application, is because I was evaluating possible staff members, believe it or not we actually do have people apply. I told him a for sure answer today, so get@me for doing my job. Do us a favor and save your personal problems for a personal facebook or something.

When I posted in Delteria's thread, I sought knowledge: Why will Delteria succeed when the past Delterias haven't. I had to explain bluntly why I had doubt or Mystical Dragon would simply ignore me as he has in the past. I don't really have anything against the server, I just simply wanted an answer. And I got one. (Novo's thread.) If I had just posted something small and to the point, Mystical Dragon would have overlooked it like he has in the past, and my question wouldn't have been answered. Now that my question has been answered, surely people's expectations about Delteria are higher. In a sort of indirect way, I did you guys a favor. No, that was not my intention as I simply wanted an answer for myself, but I did do you a favor.

I really don't want to continue any arguments anymore, especially not in the non-Delteria thread. I apologize that we're having to argue here, but I'm obviously obliged to defend Stroseria. I don't see any reason to continue arguing- my question was answered with the thread Novo made.

If anybody has any problems with Stroseria, they may post in this thread but only if they have proper knowledge and are going to be at least somewhat respectful. I'd be glad to clarify things and even take some constructive feedback.

Agree. I'm sure both server can be great and fighting doesn't bring anything good just hate (knowing you both also work for iEra...).

What I read was that it was expected to be released sometime in 2012-2013. That's all I know release-date-wise.

Mattkan im requesting if i could help out with the levels. Unfortunately i do not know how to get the tiles for stroseria. i could only do it with the iclassic tiles, do you have any advice on how i can obtain the stroseria tiles?

Zombirate, please. According to you you don't play PC, and that is one of the unspoken requirements to work on a PC server.

Levels are edited online through the client most of the time, so obviously you would need to actually play PC.

And I'm pretty sure you'd need to apply anyway. You cannot walk into a hiring thread, say you are 'requesting to help' and expect an immediate response saying, 'Oh my god! With no proof of skill, or clear grammar skills, we can clear say you are great. Please join our team ASAP!'

I don't mind bad grammar with a decent excuse. Are you from a different country? Are you below the age of twelve?

The Stroserian tileset is still slightly under construction and is not released to the public; you can only get it by logging into the server. Any applications done using pics1.png or a similar tileset are perfectly fine :)

Most of the level work on Stroseria is done online via the online editor and online NPC editor, but that's just the way we do it, lol. I don't know of any other servers that do it like that.

I have no qualms about hiring someone who hasn't played a PC server or worked on a PC server. I mean, you might as well log onto Zodiac or Era or something but I don't need you to have experience in leveling for any other server. It's all about skill. Lots of iPhone players would probably create Mona Lisa-esque levels--if only we can get them to the level editor and to Stroseria.

If only I could tell you. Right now on our Facebook page the release date is "TBA 2012-2013" :D

Just putting this out there but there are facebook updates going on the stroseria page so if you guys are interested, like the page so you can see what's going on. :D

Here's a little update on progress:

Nearly all of the core systems are done. Right now Entrok is scripting a shopping GUI and a mount system is also being worked on. We have pretty much all the graphics for every class for every level, which is to say hundreds of graphics. The GMap is huge and full of unique places to explore and baddies to fight. It's unusual for me to work on a server that gets so very far, but Stroseria has!

I'm just wondering why there are so many people saying this server's amazing. Maybe it is, but you all have only seen a picture of a level, and gotten updates on progress. There hasn't been gameplay posted or any description of server systems so how is it so promising?

For those who think I'm a giant MD hater and Delteria hater, not really. I talked to him and I think we both understand each other a little better now.

That being said, if you see any Stroseria staff being nasty against Delteria on these forums or anywhere else, I don't support them and neither does the staff team as a whole, so please don't hold it against Stroseria--let me know and I will talk to them. Thanks :)
