The graphics may be better, but the game itself is too much grinding. I stopped after the update that upgraded your weapons and reset their perks. I was doing it for a little bit, but then I just got tired of it.

Destiny was overhyped and gave us a subpar mmo.

So after my little hissy fit I threw after the new DLC came out I decided to come back to the game.

Now to be honest, I may have overreacted about the whole 'DLC ruining everything' because that isn't entirely true.

For starters, my old pre-DLC gear is still of some use to me but probably won't get me through those level 30 nightfalls and heroics obviously. The new gear old by vanguard and crucible quartermasters look kinda bad but I'm yet to buy any of them to try them out. Speaking of which, I leveled up my FWC rank right after I started playing and got a crucible commendation, it kinda sucks because now I've got to grind my way to 150 marks. It appears I can actually do some of the bounties Eris gives out so that probably means I can buy some of her stuff.

I'm still pretty pissed that they pretty much abandoned the old gear and completely jumped ships to new gear. My Shadow Price and TDYK is feeling sad.

All in all, I guess I'll keep playing the game in hopes of gaining some form of entertainment from it. May even buy the DLC if it's worth it.

Destiny is really disappointing, it's a shame you all still love it.

I want to sell my copy of Destiny, but I've already put a lot of time into it and if my friends want to play it with me one day again I'd be screwed. Other then that I haven't touched it in a couple months.

I recommend buying the DLC, I have one level 27, and one level 31, and it is worth it, if you like destiny how it was before the DLC. In essence what the DLC does is it adds the same thing, but you start from scratch with regards to the gear, you have to grind the Crota raid the same way you had to grind VoG for armor, the armor in Crota is easier to obtain, besides that, new weapons, new armor, its repeating how you felt at the beginning of the game with a fresh sense of wonder.
