I don't know, i mainly made the saber because i wanted to make and gani a saber combining alot of suggestions ive seen such as the classic lightsaber sheath effect and saber throw, i could of just added it to the other sabers but that would A. Make them even stronger for their price and B. Id have had to regani all 8 sabers with the added effects. So instead i made a golden saber with updated sounds and ganis (such as the holding animation being different) and ofcourse the throw/ sheath (did i mention it also had the old movement while blocking). It was to be proposed as almost an upgrade for the normal saber, meaning to buy it you first had to buy any of the original sabers, get 1000 kills with it and then you could buy it for the saber you had for 100ec+ another 50-100 ec.

I'm not sure if it was still to be released as the throw wasn't completely done (didn't do damage yet) and was going to be done by snk when he got around to it, whenever that was going to be, or will be.

So yea theres your answers.

I don't get the point of "gold" guns or admins publicly using anything that cannot be obtained by the player base.

That's why you should be able to reskin your guns for 100 gold minerals or diamond or sapphire or emerald.
1) those minerals are rare to mine anyways
2) it adds more personality
3) gives mining more of a point
