Doesn't matter if they'll do anything, it matters if the staff here do anything. If they're going to sit and treat the game like a business then they need to start acting like a business and dealing with these problems regardless of the "threat level."

Its still considered a minor threat and even the smallest of threats could create damage to the game. Its not only 1 hat by the way but alot of hats/heads/bodies that puts Graal Classic in a "Danger" state right now

it would only be a threat to Graal if Nexon saw it as a threat to their profits. Believe it or not Nexon is more greedy than Stefan but I doubt they would ever sue Graal

They won't get sued, Nexon is probably like "what's a Graal?"

I still don't get how some say stefan is greedy when it's clear enough that there's a free version of graal and a paid app version and you don't suffer with monthly subscription fee like graal pc?

However back on topic this hat was long made before on pc graal version infact i seen it on zodiac once already. don't blame the staff if they are unaware what maple story is..

I think you guys still don't understand the concept of copyright material.

Allot of people have made viral videos on youtube that has allot of copyright content but as long as they don't sell a product that doesn't theme with such content then there's no legal battle to be fought. Prime example smosh they make fun of pokemon and made a big youtube hit now say if they were to just slap on a regular pikachu w/o some sort of editing then it would break terms as to where copyright content would cause them some big trouble.

In-fact they just edit what was already there and made something else and they are allowed to sell it without any issue.

Actually just because no money is being exchanged doesn't mean they can't enforce copyright.

And yes, these resized and edited hats from other games are big deals, not only legally(and if they'd do anything) but to the integrity of the game. Where will we draw the line then?

Well i believe you are the same dusty from main servers Dustyporviva? something along that line. You should know better than anyone else since the days of doomsday that alto of copyright material has been uploaded to graal some that we clearly miss and some that doesn't show up until a year or so. But starting a flame war hatred on graal isn't the way to go about it. And there's tons of reason i say kiddie cause the cold and harsh matter of fact is i deal with allot of people whom are both mature and kids who doesn't really have an understanding to why things are they way they are. So my little nickname for them are kiddies who need to learn and adapt.

The truth about everything is there's even certain rules that applies to people whom upload content on graal and it's not to say that the guideline simply states that the person should know a bit about anime and cartoon. But that doesn't mean if they miss a graphics such as the maple story hat then all of graal get flame for it? How will we ever stop people from uploading copyright material can you sit there and tell me if you were in a position to upload you won't miss one?

Just state that the hat is from another game/content and ask someone to simply report that it needs to be remake. That's like saying pixeljoint needs to be shutdown for people showing of there pixel art that has allot of copyright content.

Also, I'm well aware about other servers uploading copyrighted content, and I have never agreed with it. It has actually never been tolerated, but the problem is no one cared enough to do anything about it.

My stance is simply that no one should turn a blind eye to it, not that we need to form a super anti-copyright brigade over it. If someone reports a copyrighted image, then the administration should look into it and take it seriously. That's it. I'm simply against the attitude that "it's just one small image" or "it's Graal, who cares!?" for dealing with it. Graal has reached a much broader audience now and should take this more seriously. If someone was persistent then Apple could step in and they don't have to be reasonable. If they feel you're violating copyright laws, whether you actually are or not, they can pull the app. It's their rules and their judgement, so they should tread more carefully.

Wasn't this game originally called "Zelda Online" and used the exact tiles used in one of the gameboy versions of Zelda? It's ironic how much they arn't learning from the past. This has been brought to their attention, are they going to upload new hats in their place?
