I wonder why she's so adamant about GPs...

Funny thing is she's trying to get hired on iZone as a GP or now...Zone Patrol. She claims to only be using Graal Amazon to get to learn the RC. Given how she's handling this situation I wouldn't count her chances of hiring very high, I can tell you that.

Honestly, I don't think this server will get anywhere. Ill list some reasons. 1. Almost all of the people on your staff list i have ever heard of, all work for zone. Then the ones who don't, seem quite immature. (i.e. goofy, andrew, daphne) Goofy can barely speak english, and I had a hard time understanding him. Andrew, was asking if another staff member worked on the server on an open thread for all too see instead of privately pming him, and daphne seems to shut down anyone who has a condescending thought about her gp's or future of the server. This is silly as gp's are not needed for any dev server, even if they have to "advertise". Basically, you have nothing to advertise and have already caused alot of flame wars going on. 2. Your server is a basic outline of every other server, with a twist. You arrive on an island, and then player will shape the future of the game as it develops. You don't even know what activities players will have, what main theme the server is (pk, spar, chatting, questing). Any single one of those ideas, will have a long time of prep, and even longer without any certain goal. You shoulf be setting plain ideas down for your team to develop. For example, have you got a tileset, do you have a theme of the graphic style you want, or an outline of the gmap for LAT's to follow? (I would start with those). 3. You say your way of working with GPs and way of developing is working, but what exactly do you have? I have not seen anything in this thread that is close to an idea of the servers outcome; all i have seen is a LOT of people trying to advise you to do it right, and you basically say "I'm right, your wrong" with a couple of smilies. I would close this thread, get your server together, and put this together with some proper organization.

Actually i have worked on many servers in the past and im not immature,what i dont get is why you and the rest of the people are telling us what we should do with our server.we have a good plan and we have stuff built and we have alot already,we know the server plan and what we plan on doing with the server....we are in early development,yes but we have everything we need planned out.So it would be appreciative if you could not tell us how our server will end up or what we should do with it,your comments mean nothing because yo have no idea what the server actually looks like.Also last time i checked you couldn't see the future.And you are saying that she is saying she is right and you guys are wrong? Ou and the rest of them have been doing that since the post came up,you guys are saying you have nothing better to do than sit here and be negative,if you have nothing good to say dont say anything at all.

Hahaha... this is fun! Anyways, since i see this is an open attack against me i will not hesitate and do something i wouldn't usually. To begin, Imprint and the rest saying i am so adamant about the Gps, i can assure you all that even if we stopped gps i would still have a position as Lat:) Instead, i am so adamant about Gps because i do believe and so do most, if not all, of the staff that work on Graal Amazon that we should have them. Also, 99% what i feel is most immature is post this on an open forum... Also, i am really interested on the position, but i didn't apply for this position so yeah... Thank you all for repeating again and again that gps are not necessary but this is the way it is! Anyways if you are SO keen in trying to change this please contact one of the higher staff members.

Anyways, leave them alone. Let them manage their server in the way they want to, if you don't want to help them, shut the **** up and get out already.

He's trying to help, me and him have worked on so many similar dev servers. We were both talking earlier that we've seen so many servers go down the same path and fail so miserably... They're just wasting there time, they will regret it after.

That's not the way you help. Also, I wasn't pointing at him only, but at the people who need to ask why there are GPs if the server is under construction after that question was already answered.

I think the best thing to happen is this thread to be closed and have graal amazon come back when they have something to show, instead of having a thread full of arguments

I get how they don't want ideas and think that the server is good. But ik I'm a staff member too but no one listens to me on Skype. Everyone on the forums is a player in some way. They can help give you ideas to make the server better. 99% said what needed to be said. If it stays like this players will believe the server is managed terribly. You should actually listen more to the players. Those players are going to play your server and if it keeps staying like this, a rumor will spread saying we have bad management. I get how I was immature for fighting over an open thread but no one listens on Skype like I said. All of the GPS we have are very experienced but shouldn't be known as Graal Police. Like 99% said it, Graal Police's Job is to "police" the server and/or keep the server safe. Not mess with scripts or anything like that. That is my thoughts of the server and what should happen. Like I said I'm sorry for fighting over an open thread. :)

All I can really say at this point, is that even if Graal Amazon was to turn out being the best server Graal has ever seen, I'd still be disgusted by it, thanks to the way staff, mostly Daphne, have handled this thread.

Graal Amazon seems more pathetic to me than Atrius right now. And that's saying a lot. Sorry, but this is what you've lead me and I'm assuming quite a few others to view the server like.

You're kinda being a ****. Their server and administration obviously has its faults, but at the end of the day they're developers just like you and you should be nicer to them.

Way to represent your team in a good way. now I definitely would like to play this server.

Please don't call people names or say something bad to them. Especially players.
