Big City was only intended to be promotional content for Ol'West. Unixmad wanted us to advertise Ol'West with in-game content, and I felt this was the best way to go about it without ending up with another Air Asia area.

Would be cool looking-- but my point is that putting a tower in an area off the main gmap that is obviously not in anyway made for pvp content would be silly.

Is like to see a shop selling the hats the natives wear, esp. That headers feather hat... Would murder someone to get my hands on own of those.... Or the event hat

Can we have this added to the main map? Like how we have Balamb Island? I think it would be a nice touch. Oh, and whoever mentioned to make a tower, the volcano would be a great place, like inside. I heard Dusty did it all, which is actually amazing. GJ!

Turning the volcano into a tower would completely waste a perfect oppurtunity to continue the island's story! It could be a whole single player dungeon that would lead to an end game of sorts for the island :0...,

Brining bak towns like big city is great and towers to be added mini games a volcano dungeon all those stuff would really make classic the best igraal game

This is why I decided to go with Big City instead of some silly new area like Air Asia. Do I plan on expanding on Big City in the near future? No, but there is room/story to expand if I ever feel like it.

I was so psyched to see the release of Big City in the news. Then when I actually went there and explored I was even more excited. I'm the type of person who likes figuring things out for myself, so I didn't want anyone's help in doing the quest. I was being told that it was taking people 6-8 hours to complete (because of what we now know was a bug related to the digging parts). Thankfully I wasn't even able to figure out where to go first until after that bug was fixed, so I finished the quest pretty quickly once I figured out how to get to the top area.

Anyway, I love everything about this island. The quest was fun and there's some really awesome furniture (the fans are awesome too). I'm a little saddened that there's no plans to add to it, but I'm hoping that's because there are other big updates in the works.

I believe you are correct in what you saw, as there are other "rare" versions of certain baddies in the game that often drop gold gralats (bomb rat, gold blob).
