Bought 1k plat since I got a 50% off coupon. Gonna buy Frost Prime, some slots, reactors, catalysts and some mods I need for my weapons and frames.

So my clan is hosting a thing. I decided to submit to that thing. Not sure if it actually falls under what the competition is supposed to be, but I figured it'd be fun to try my dumb idea anyways.

I went in to a decently high level rescue mission with no shield, armor, or health mods on, and only an unmodded secondary weapon. Took me 3 tries, and then I found that the recording bugged out. So technically it took 4 runs to capture this attempt. It was interesting, if not a little entertaining. I wouldn't call it a challenge by any stretch though, since I could've easily cheesed the whole thing even with Banshee.

FML, I still haven't maxed out my Serration. If I did I'd probably need to forma most of primaries to get it to fit.

Seems like the general build for the Soma. Every build I saw uses these mods but I seen some that would replace Bladed Rounds for Shred or Hammer Shot. I got all the mods of this build minus Stormbringer and Bladed Rounds. Stormbringer..would..not..drop...for..me..at..all.

BTW it's so fun man. A 200-mag just tears through the crowd. I really can't wait to forma this and maximize it. My Serration isn't maxed out as well..It's Rank 7 nearing Rank 8. Heavy Cal is just Rank 3 but I'm gonna try to rank that baby up as well.

Well..I just did a T2 Defense to 40..Omg how the Soma shred through every last little thing. I think I found my new favorite Rifle, right alongside the Dex Sybaris.

Corrosive + Fire Rate + Magazine + Critical Chance and Multiplier = Watch that HP bar go down so fast!

On the side note, my Dakras are also based around a corrosive build. Plus berserker makes em fast as hell. Stacked with Fury? Jeez I love using this set up especially with Valkyr's Hysteria mixed in with Warcry.

And my Inaros is just pure spam. Spam Desiccation like there's no tomrow. And Rage just makes my Energy supply near endless. Scarab Armor --> Desiccation --> Easy finishers for easy health back makes for easy skill spam. Loving this frame. I have two builds really. One Duration Ranged one and one balanced one. Made the balance one today and must say it worked pretty well. I use the Duration ranged one for missions like Interception and Excavation just to get a lot of range <3.

Well ****. If only I acquired an Arcane Grace. That would make Inaros even better than before. And I really have no clue why Stormbringer won't drop for me. Guess I'm one of the unlucky ones.

The one mod that wouldn't drop for me for literally forever was Pistol Pestilence. I asked around, but it seems as though it's actually kinda hard to get. Finally got it about a week ago.

Also @5hift, what was your mod setup for that video? Full tank with vigor on top would make it seem even stronger than inaros with a maxed grace already would be.

Would you guys recommend a Latron Prime? I kinda want a semi automatic rifle. Is it a good dmg gun or I shouldn't bother buying it with plat via trades.

You could. But you are focusing on thinking that Warframes outpower one another and weapons outpower one another. While some Warframes are a bit on the lackluster side right now like Oberon, Volt (getting reworked), Hydroid and few others, there are a lot of ones that can acheive high damaging numbers. It's all about the mods. Remember, mods is Warframe take on RPGs and character/weapon building. The mods define what you're Warframe/weapon will be. Like look at my Inaros build. Intensify makes my power strength go up which gives me more damage for Desiccation, Sandstorm, Devour, and gives me more healing when I use Scarab Swarm. Stretch makes these powers ranges go even further than before. Rage lets me get energy when my health goes down. Since Inaros is health only, I get a near endless supply of energy. Vitality increases my health and steel fiber increases my armor so I take less damage from attacks. When my Inaros started, I was basically healing so little and dying a bit fast due to low health. Stack mods on and it's a whole different ball game.

Trust me, I was like that when I first started Warframe. I use to just buy weapons and frames and didn't really care for Mods. But I came to realize that Mods are one of the most important aspects of the game. It defines what you are.

It's such a great site as it shows all mods avaibable for your weapon/warframe and the polarities. It even lets you view other people builds to get an idea. I started using this site much more since I got Inaros and Soma Prime.

Pretty much the site I go to every time I start up Warframe. The Wiki has such an expansive amount of information for about everything Warframe. It lists where mod drops are, weapon stats and drop parts, Warframe powers (in-depth if I say so myself), rewards list from missions such as Excavation and Defense and much much more. Really helpful.

Simply the best site for trading and knowing trade prices. What you should do with Plat if not buying anything else is trading for mods/prime items that are in the Vault. Only if you want but I recommend it as I buy mods that are really rare/only dropped in Event to help with my builds. I also buy reactors and catalysts.

And about that..The main frames and weapons you use? Yeah, install Orokin reactors and catalysts on them. It's pretty much a must for any build you're working with. I have one on every frame I own beside Nyx since I'm gonna get her Prime variant and put one on there. You're main weapons should also have one installed. It helps dude.

Welp..I see that I'm gonna need to farm Orokin Derelict..I have none of the corrupted mods Frost needs to fully utilize the Snow Globe. I need more range and strength and sadly Stretch and Intensify on their own is just not enough.
