Yea that makes sense. It certainly could be an advantage, but doesn’t necessarily give you much higher of a chance of winning overall. The players you’d need to worry about would most likely still be just as difficult because they’re good enough to adapt against you as well. I understand what you’re getting at though

I think that would give me an advantage because spar isn’t consistent, good sparrers always lose to players they aren’t familiar with/have not sparred against, and the only thing I can think of to improve consistency is experience, and yes they can and probably do adapt to me but what I’m saying is they haven’t sparred enough to adapt to the other 48 players in the SST, where as I probably have

Rusix, what you are trying to say has nothing to do with 'logic'. It is not at all logical to say 'the 1st on the board is most likely to win since he has the most experience'. The 1st one leads in exactly one category: Points. Against who has he/she gotten the points? Nobody will ever know that. Points measure activity and only if there were very many active classy sparrers fighting for the trophy (since then they'd actually fight each other), the meaning of points would get more close to representing skill.

I think what you try to express is that 'being in shape' is a huge factor when it comes to sparring. That is not the case because spar happens in the head. From a certain intensity of sparring on, you don't forget patterns and moves anymore. Please read my previous post in this thread, it will save you so much time

I know, It would be fun, I'd love such, But leaderboards only go to 50... not 64, plus as I said before, it would be extremely likely the 1st place in seasonal spar will likely place 1st, they got more experience through the time, and also they probably fought everyone else enough to know how to beat them.. I mean, believe me I love the idea, But I think graal would need to be fixed in many areas to even have such possible

I'd have to agree but also disagree, The leaderboard does show the most active sparrer, however in the same way it also shows they are likely the best at that given season.

The reason I say this is because simply they gained the most experience, they are the most sharp knife in the drawer. If you fought against a strong sparrer every day, you'll probably get better after a while, you will progress a bit if you are truly willing to accept a challenge and its outcome even if you lose.

But same time experience only can go so far. The General person themself can play a a role in just how they think and how they are able to deal with different situations and different kinds of sparrers.

It's kind of like if Sparrer A could beat Sparrer B with a pretty high chance, But Sparrer B can beat Sparrer C with a high chance, but Sparrer C can beat Sparrer A with a high chance.

So who is "Better" Sparrer A, or B, Or C?
