There have been some major updates to the contest. They include:

• Submissions are now allowed from people without Graalians.com accounts. This website was created to facilitate them.
• The deadline has been extended to October 3rd.
• There are now a few more prizes, and a new category to reward the most humorous video. Videos with copyrighted elements will be allowed in this category, but NOT the promotional category.

So would I be able to submit to both categories for a higher chance of winning + more videos?

Nvm, I just read OP again. You can resubmit your entry. I think that’s fair enough. Don’t think they’ll allow 2 submissions.

Yes, you may submit a video to each category. You can also make one video and submit it to both categories. I have updated the post to reflect this.

Please specify which one(s) you are entering when posting a video. If you need me to edit an old post, let me know.

The categories are tied directly to the prizes.

So the two categories are promotional and humorous videos.

The video contest is on the news

First round of videos from people without Graalians.com accounts.

I know some of these aren't perfect, but please be kind when discussing them. Since the contest was announced in-game, it is likely that a lot of younger people are submitting. You're still welcome to post feedback for them, of course, but they may not see it.

For some of these I was unsure if the music was copyrighted. I have reached out to those that have submitted, and if I find out any of them use copyrighted music I will edit them out of this post.

Here's my submission for the humorous category.



If we're required to supply a category for each submission, feel free to edit my other video post to specify the promotion category cause it seems I can't.

There were quite a few more, this is less than half of them. I was surprised to see so many on the first day.

Should be there now, thanks. If the people who already had submissions don't specify by the end of the contest, I'll enter them in both categories if their video is applicable.

How is voting gonna go? Is it gonna be google site vote? :d
This is gunna be so rigged, i hope unix/staffs just pick out the winners at the end.

While I think ‘asking for a vote’ is a strategy, but at the same time it just makes this entire contest a popularity contest rather than what it was intended for. Should tweak it a bit.

could see a google poll being abused like Zet mentioned so will voting still be limited to forum users and staff?
