What has society come to... We have went from being amazed over Pong to complaining about 1-2 second lag every several minutes in an mass multiplayer online roleplaying game...

  • Pools and lifesavers now actually work together properly. However layers were disabled because of a small issue that was arising. Layer support may be added again later.

Please let me know if the removal of layer support is breaking your designs or such and I'll add it back.

I noticed something minor with the 'editor view' in house:

1.) Tap on editor mode.
2.) Scroll screen around.
3.) Tap furniture inventory.
4.) Select furniture item (do not place yet).
5.) Tap outside of furniture selection list (pc servers only? I've heard that device's list covers the whole screen, so might not apply).
6.) Press movement controls. Should make your character move, regardless of editor mode being in effect.
7.) Place a furniture item.

Normally while in editor mode, your furniture items fall in a heap wherever your screen view is centered, but this will cause the furniture to drop in front of your character again, until you re-enter the furniture selection list.

I can't seem to reproduce this, even after following each step.

  • Taking a lot of damage from a single hit while riding your horse has been fixed. It now has proper invincibility and recoil.
  • You now lose a "bush" count when you are damaged on a horse.
  • There is now a bush icon above the number when your bush count changes.

These changes to horses will be monitored over the next few days. Tweaks and balancing factors may be made to account for how horses factor into PvP and such now.

Why can't we just have the old system back? You hop on a horse, fill up with bushes, you get off, you lose your bushes. And there's not the super fast horse killing.

You mean unbroken? Ya :P But the bush thing was always a feature of horses in the past, I simply reimplemented it as a sort of balancing aspect for horses. Horses are able to be quick and move in and attack and get out, but this was somewhat unfairly "balanced" by the fact that if they WERE hit, they would take a lot of damage from a single hit. It could range from one full heart to even instant death in the case of bombs. Now they can get in, get a quick hit and get out. Even if they are hit they take a moment of invincibility and can escape away -- as intended. Thus, I made it so if you do hit a horse rider you can somewhat slow them down.

Exactly how client pc has it

Hmm... maybe. Honestly though sometimes I can go months without really having anything substantial posted here so I don't know. Honestly I'd be more interested in setting up a bug tracking website, but that's probably something Stefan would have to do... and I don't think they are very interested in fixing bugs unless they are very high priority.

It doesn't have to be monthly. It just seems more logical putting the changes in-game

Dusty, since you've been making changes to horses, is there any way you can change the sound effects on some old horses that don't make any sense? Main example: The July 4th Rocket. It has the default "horse" sound effects, which makes no sense whatsoever. I'm not asking to make a brand new set of sounds for such an old mount (although it would be awesome if you did), but at least if you could change it to the same sounds the broom or the cloud use (the most similar mounts I can think of). Also, given that the rocket "flies", should it not be able to ride over water? I have other old mounts that fly, like the owl and the gargoyle.

Getting back to the sound effects, the old turkey mount could also use a change. You have that turkey sound effect used by the pets. That sound should apply to the turkey mount.

It would be great if this could be looked into. Maybe older items aren't as high on the priority list as newer ones, but there's still a bunch of us who have these items and it's only fair that the rules that apply to the newer stuff also be applied to the vintage mounts/items/etc.

Would be awesome to have a Screen lock key, help a lot in guild spar. Make it an option in the 'options' (disable screen lock key/enable screen lock key).

Anyone who doesn't know what i'm talking about, in spars your screen is 'focused' or 'locked' and it doesn't move with your character.

Dusty I'm just looking for your input brother. You seem to be the guy to go to on these things and when you don't respond saying "Good idea" or "bad idea" I have to post in here where I get a response. Just something kinda awkward to navigate/non-intuitive...

When I go into my inventory and select morphs, the ones i've bought/found in game show up, but not the vip ones. Vip morphs show up in another section, marked 'vip.'
The vip mounts, however, show up in the mount section.

Also, I've got a couple 'folders' in my inventory with one item - specifically "Games" and "Event" come to mind. In games there is lonely old RPS (is there any other games?) and in the "Event" folder is an umbrella I bought for St george's day (3 years ago?).

Some folder consolidation might help :) Thanks!

There are actually quite a few things that go into the 'Event' folder. Specifically umbrellas, GST items, and the jiggle. And I thought they made the RPS in a game folder because more games were possibly going to be added.

I personally prefer to have all my mounts in the horses folder. It's a little different when it comes to morphs. It's less important to have them all in one folder. Personally I like the system the way it is. As for the other folders you mentioned, the poster above me answered that.

There was a time when the tools folder was practically empty. Now it's full of stuff.

I was mostly trying to outline the extraneous 'VIP' folder that could just be merged into 'morphs.'

I don't think they should work anywhere except the world map and certain exceptions, but since they don't work like that I don't see why they can't in towers now.

I wish there was a way to turn off the chat emoticons. Ever since they were implemented, I preferred the actual text over them. This doesn't seem too difficult to add and I would love to see it happen.

The ability to turn off certain allies messages. Would just help to keep down the flood of guild messages between you and your allies during off times.
