I'd be really nice if what team you were competing with was public, it would make predicting and the viewing experience much better imo. Sure there could be an "advantage" towards people not knowing, but c'mon now, the best teams should win regardless of whether people can prepare for them or not.
I really would like to talk about what I see at the practices, but without knowing if that's their actual team is feels kinda fruitless. Because from what I've seen in practice TEAM BEER has been the best team, but I don't know whether people like David, Dante, or Skull will be there when the gst arrives. |
RD is Noss, Killman, Shiden, Mex, Me

dear admen, I registered myself (countless times) and I don't show up as registered. I had this issue last GST and was not allowed to spar. Pls help so I can play and spend more money on gralats :)
|
Ahhh its me Scar. My team will place top 2 (myself, spadtastic, phural, matsugen and mew.) We have been solid in practice and have beat both Grizzly and Amity easily. Myself being a top 5 idevice gser will get us the W. Yes it's true that I have a 1.9 gs ratio.
Mixed- Whitebeard wins because PrimeTime is the best pc sparrer currently. Quote:

Hopefully we get a team winning mixed that noone is really expecting.
Mixed 1- Team Beer 2- Rinse and Repeat/Holy 3rd- Rinse and Repeat/Holy 4-Whitebeard Dark Horses- Pharaoh/GTEAM, Immortal/SLX and Shark Gang Not sure if Rinse and Repeat is a GST, they have 7k points so they might be a team so Skull will be with them and not Team Beer, another GST with the Deity guys. Holy, despite only coming back earlier this week could place far if they care enough to try, and not lose like they did last season to Immortal 2-0. Team Beer if they have David, Dante and Fulgore sparring could win the whole thing. GTEAM, look to be back, not sure what there team is, but as always they should be considered dangerous, looking to capitalise on there loss to Simba last season. Shark Gang are pretty strong and should be considered a strong team as Hmong's mixed team last season Simba did eliminate GTEAM, so they'll be looking to cause another upset. As for Whitebeard, PT has a good team with Whisky Messiah and Exalt coming from Immortal to join him, they are going strong but they need to learn to work together as I have seen them lose to Holy and Team Beer in GS lately. iDev 1- Silver 2-Amity 3-Trollin/BTW 4-Trollin/BTW pretty much everything has been said here, not much to say. |

Skull's team is the best Mixed team and Abood's is the best iDevice team, just a matter of who gets played and how the brackets shape out
|
sorry guys thallen is drunk what he meant to say is team beer #1 mixed drinks bracket
|
RD went 7-4 (8-4 according to noss) vs Amity about 12 hours ago with 5 members. Spars we lost were my fault, was busy-rushed blindly. First time we've really sparred. Best team imo is Silver
Brett and Thallen on the same team? GL |

Sucks that Exalt and Poodie left us. They are really good. And John and RM are shining with Holy. I remember back in Entity when RM used to say things like "12 hits" in guild chat. I was like stfu bs. Lol I did see him getting insane amount of hits registered last night with Holy. Glad that Holy, Whitebeard, Amity none of them paused against us while I was doing terrible. 😂😂
Fp4 plz whitebeard vs. holy vs. team beer vs. rinse and shine <<<before semi 🙏🏼🙏🏼 |
The real gst champions????
We all know whos really gna take the win this time. Stop lying with all the fake predictions xdhttp://www.defenders.org/sites/defau...-bosen-dpc.jpg

Time to turn this back on topic for a short while...
For Mixed i'm going to have to predict: 1) Holy 2) Whitebeard 3) Team BEER Holy was always so close to winning GST but now they got T-Daddy too so they'll probably win. They should put Brett, Aguzo, T-Daddy, John and Mish on core. Whitebeard seems stacked...getting players from various different teams they look really stronkkk. Team BEER got dope players so they'll be good even if they are mostly drunk I still think they'll make it Far. |
Skulls team will place.

Hey guys, this is my first post! So here are my predictions:
Mixed: 1.) Holy - Currently I think they have one of the most solid core members this GST. 2.) TEAM BEER - While I haven't practiced against this team too often, they'll have a solid starting five in late GST. My boy Fulgy's improved greatly and Dante on any team can easily make his surrounding cast better. 3.) Rinse and Repeat - One of the harder practice opponents I've faced, this team is definitely going to go far into GST. I haven't seen the complete team spar in practice, so I cannot place it above TEAM BEER, but having Skull makes this team dangerous. When Skull's got the hot hand, he can be a handful for any team to take out. Honorable Mentions: Immortal/SLX - Always consistently in the top 5 mixed teams. Last GST they made it into the top 3 and was the biggest threat to Alumni, however this GST they lost two crucial pieces in Poodie and Exalt. Whitebeard - Prime's team will always make it into the discussion of top 3 teams, however this GST is different and there's a good spread of competition due to the distribution of Alumni. Whitebeard has shown promise in practice, but they have a good few guilds to compete with. Nonetheless, having Prime, Exalt, and Poodie in any team should never be underestimated. iDevice: 1.) RD - An odd choice for first considering the other posts don't believe in RD as much. This team is tied for first in practicing this season, and I believe it has a lot of hidden potential, iDevice GSTs usually end up different from our expectations, so I believe Dark and Noss can pull one in. 2.) Silver - I'm not too sure who's coring for this team, but if Sarah, Kosiris, Mariam, Arnol are in it, I think they'll do really well. The reason being most of Silver does GST with each other consistently without switching members up much. Along with the addition of Sarah, they should be a tough team to take out, specially if you lack patience. 3.) Amity - Was hard choosing between them and Trollin, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt to 4/7 former champions. I think Abood, Alexx, Shaheen, and Sugar will do great together (if they're all core, not sure). But Alumni idev put on a clinic last GST, and the only thing that'd make this result different is if they weren't GSTing together as five. Honorable Mentions: Trollin - I really think TomTheTurkey is a great iDevice and I believe Haze will perform given the opportunity, can't wait to see how they turn out this GST, maybe they'll make me rethink not putting them in top 3 with their performance! Shark Gang - Tek, Jordini, Super are former Entity members, so I'm biased here big time! But in all seriousness, I think they can perform well due to them developing a strong teamwork with one another. Grizzly/BuildTheWall/Whatever - I had to put this team as an honorable mention because I respect Den and Jose as GSers, and I believe the overall team is on the upper-mid echelon of iDevice GST. Goodluck to everyone ~ |
Kuz with the strategic no-pressure prediction strategy
boi, you know damn well Skull's team is gonna place (and probably win) |
im waiting for the surprise alumni comeback

Mixed:
1st: Holy 2nd: Whitebeard 3rd: Team B33R Idev: 1st: Grizzly 2nd: Amity 3rd: Silver Ps. John is one of the best gsers on all of graal...him and brett are like the mixed sarah and abood...they wont be Beaten |
The iDevice tournament has been shrunk from 64 guilds/teams to 32 guilds/teams.

Holy has Brett, Thallen, John, RM, and Aguzo? That's a tough ass team to beat.

Also guild spar score calculations have been adjusted to rank guilds with higher participation better. |
Apparently grizzly and that random letter guild got -3000 points for boosting! If they actually boosted (which i assume they did) nice to see admins making a stand and doing something

Guilds with 100+ rating deviation -- these were the only guilds affected by the change -- shouldn't be able to sit through pre-GST week and coast their way into the brackets. |
doing this on thanksgiving sucks. I won't be able to get on tonight or tomorrow to guild spar and get points with my team since my family flew in from overseas...

Great update, will just take time for people to adjust.

From reading the last page, the new system seems decent honestly. Must suck to have -3000 points though lol.

Good move, stops guilds with 10 wins from getting 8000 boosted points and entering. Although, should have done this when registration opened.
FP4, is top seed/seeding still the guild with the most points in their guild profile or is it the wins on the season board? Also (RS) didn't lose points, will it need to spar again to keep its points? |
