Its the best anime of the year and one of the best sports anime ever made in my eyes

so far it's impressive, idk about best anime of the year though, the animation is very jittery even when out of a match.

I thought that as well but then I watched the christmas scene........

omg :drool: that last episode though, i'd rate that series like 8.5/10 it was definitely an amazing watch regardless if you enjoy sports anime.

Can someone recommend a dark anime with alot of death and mystery? I dislike OP main characters, but i also dislike super weak characters who rely on others all the time.

I watched 9 episodes of Ao Haru Ride today and I think it's great so far. Although, there seems to be a lot of the story remaining with only a few episodes left.

Deadman Wonderland was a pretty mediocre anime, but had a good storyline. Didnt read manga, but it seems like they probably cut out crap tons to condense it [im guessing]

the ending is what really kills it, it skipped alot of **** from the manga.

meh the manga wasn't anything special either way.

idk i perhaps, i foolishly dropped it after like 3 episodes.

it's been on my list for awhile, i've been putting it off because of the episode count

Well the end of SAO2 was trashy. Glad thats finally over with.

sao was a trashy series to begin with.

sao2 was a really huge step up from what season 1 gave us.

i wouldn't say all of s2 was crap, I liked most of the GGO and Rosario arcs. still has some of the stupid flaws though

GGO was painfully slow and it felt to forced with some of the mental issues that Kirito had. The Rosario arcs where nothing special either to be honest and the whole raid idea of only 1 boss that was then beat stupidly quickly is ******ed.

I'd prefer the slowness over the cocaine fueled **** we got from the previous season, the anguish over laughing coffin was stupid.

I liked the Rosario arc because it took the focus away from Kirito. As for the raid boss thing, that's SAO for you.

We all recognize SAO's reputation to produce terrible second arcs.

So don't compliment it too much.

the first arc in sao was terrible too.

But not nearly as bad as both second arcs.

I watched 5 episodes of Princess Jellyfish so far. It's alright. Little laughable moments here and there, but nothing that really makes me look forward to the next episode.

I never really finished it, and the characters are all very unique indeed

- Amazing Fight Scenes
- Strong Beginning

Bad Qualities:
- Multiple Time Skips
- Fillers (Lol detective Kirito on duty; lol cyber daughter)
- Lack luster development between Kirito and Asuna
- Basically no development in all other characters
- Plot Holes
- Making Asuna generic Tsundere
- Useless fanservice to make the series even less serious
- Misses the whole point of a MMO by focusing a solo player, instead of focusing on a group working together
- Overall poor writing

A lot of the reviewers for SAO on MAL are giving asshole ratings. Go ahead and look. Most of the overall ratings given by them are below 5. They just have to express their frustration and hatred toward the anime and try to ruin the experience for others. SAO isn't that bad to be rated anything lower than a 5 (even a 6 in my opinion). People just hate it more because of how popular it is.

Everything directly after ggo (phantom bullet arc) was absolute ****.

I found the Alfeim arc to be okay, actually. It was worse than both the phantom bullet and the original aincrad arc, but it sufficed and I enjoyed watching it.

SAO should had spent most of their episodes exploring aincrad and explaining more of what happened. It happened so quickly and it cant be on the same level as the new arcs.

First arc drama= Die in the game die in real life
Second arc drama= Save the girl, become her hero
Third arc drama= Hunt down a psychopathic killer and overcome past fears.
All the other new arcs= Hunt for special in-game items that kirito had spawned earlier in the anime at the ease of a simple voice command, and pretend like they even matter.

except it really was. it barely beats alfheim.

i watched episode one a awhile ago, and it was funny enough, but slice of life isn't really my thing.

the only thing i actually enjoyed from sao was the boss fights, there are so many things i disliked..

i used to play the Japanese version on my ds and not understand anything, i saw some images its looking great : )

started to watch Cromartie High School, so far it's the funniest anime i have ever seen, i find myself laughing every single episode which is rare for me, i definitely suggest you guys give it a try!

GGO was the best of the 4 arcs. Rosario was comparable to gargling acid.

Dunno if anyones been watching Garo, but apparently its not finished? Its been pretty boring, so Im not going on through another season if its happening.

although, Im really happy that World Trigger is getting 50episodes. Ive been enjoying it.
