Could someone please name a great water type move to get for my blastoise? I have Hydro Pump, skull bash, surf and ice beam.

Also some suggested stats to train it in would be nice, im gonna try and tag team my charizard and blastoise in the elite four and my charizard is already at its best since I cant find brick break or dragon claw.

Also a Follow up on my questions noone answered, I found this out.

- one hitted gyarados with raichu after spamming electro ball

- Friend Safari requires friends on my 3DS (Geyyyyy not gonna get alot of friends so itll be useless)

- zygarde is a ground/dragon type that Ill probably just trade off on the GTS for another legendary

And yeah. Still stuck on the elite four because I cant get a decent fairy type, need to find one and get it to level 70 or so.

Any advice on getting a good fairy type or beating the elite four would be most helpful

Tanks guys

Is it still an efficient tactic to just powerlevel your starter and plow through the Elite 4 with it? I also heard share exp is extremely overpowered this time around.

It's annoying because I believe you cannot plug it into one pokemon, you have to set it to all of them.

So it's harder to old EV train.

For your question I could imagine it is lol. I had team of six but I'm sure it would have been just as easy to beat the game only using the starter since he'd be way higher leveled than everyone from fighting every battle. Overall the game is way too easy. And yeah the exp share gives the Pokemon fighting 100% of the exp and everyone else in your party gets exactly half of what the guy fighting gets. Say its 100 exp. Your Pokemon battling gets all 100 while everyone else receives 50 pts each.

Dusty 10-22-2013 12:54 AM

Good. I can see why people could consider it overpowered but it was a pain in the ass to make sure your entire team was balanced in level. Though, I think it probably would have been fair if instead of your fighting pokemon getting 100% exp, EVERYONE got half exp. It beats getting 1/6th exp(ie leveling each pokemon individually).

I beat the elite twice on the same day I first beat it. Maybe it was pure luck. The champion used no full restore at all. :/

Talon 10-22-2013 01:35 AM

Just get some setup sweeper like Haxorus -> Dragon Dance x4, Full Restore when needed -> dragonclawdragonclawdragonclawdragonclawdragonclaw dragonclaw

Rinse and repeat.

Vaporeon + Leftovers uses: Toxic, Acid Armor x4, Substitute, Baton Pass = Dead Haxorus
