You think they'd be able to also make the patch hotfix peoples corrupted saves :(

Sup3rn00b 10-22-2013 02:42 AM

Just don't save in the city, and everything will be peachy.

Btw Pazx is radical for posting the bug here first.

This doesn't help people who saved before the announcement(or are unaware). Anyone who grew up playing Pokemon from the start probably developed some compulsive saving habits.

What's the context of this game-breaking save? Like... does it just completely corrupt your save or what?

Twilight Princess had a game-breaking save glitch when you saved in a certain room, and they let you mail in your memory cards to get it fixed.

Vaporeon + Leftovers uses: Toxic, Acid Armor x4, Substitute, Baton Pass = Dead Haxorus

A good Haxorus always has Lum Berry.

Welcome back.

What happens? Your 3DS' internal hardware freezes, so no home button. Hard power off only. And all you get, is an endless loop of Lumiose's theme. Yay..
Also, it's only when you turn it back on. So if you save and continue the adventure, you are fine.

Just get some setup sweeper like Haxorus -> Dragon Dance x4, Full Restore when needed -> dragonclawdragonclawdragonclawdragonclawdragonclaw dragonclaw

Rinse and repeat.

Did that in Black version. I never used my team ever again. Just him.

Could someone please name a great water type move to get for my blastoise? I have Hydro Pump, skull bash, surf and ice beam.

Also some suggested stats to train it in would be nice, im gonna try and tag team my charizard and blastoise in the elite four and my charizard is already at its best since I cant find brick break or dragon claw.

Also a Follow up on my questions noone answered, I found this out.

- one hitted gyarados with raichu after spamming electro ball

- Friend Safari requires friends on my 3DS (Geyyyyy not gonna get alot of friends so itll be useless)

- zygarde is a ground/dragon type that Ill probably just trade off on the GTS for another legendary

And yeah. Still stuck on the elite four because I cant get a decent fairy type, need to find one and get it to level 70 or so.

Any advice on getting a good fairy type or beating the elite four would be most helpful

Tanks guys

FriendCode Safari, mine is grass with free Quiladins.
Also, a good fairy type for me, maybe not you, was Dendenne. It has a move, Play Rough, and it does 90 base physical damage. Plus my Thunder.

You have... two water type moves... already...

No, I was saying is freaking powerful. A Thunder does tons, and that Physical PlayRough Fairy owns dragons.

But thunder is special.

I see dindinner is special attacker (81 base sp. attack), so why have a physical attack?

Sylveon base 110 sp. attack

Calm mind + MOON BLAST

Hey dude, TYPE COVERAGE.

Because I explained, it owns dragons.. 2/3 of a Zygarde's HP gone.
And you need back up if Hydro Pump won't hit, follow with surf.

He was asking for a third.

Didn't hear that then. Ice beam is good, farther better the risking a blizzard.

Talon 10-22-2013 04:31 AM

So it appears Dedenne's only Fairy-type move is Play Rough. It's a special attacker and yet Play Rough is a physical move. The design makes zero sense, unless GF was intentionally making this Pokemon bad; in that case, it worked. And if you wanted to OHKO Zygarde, any Ice move will suffice. You don't really need SE on Dragons seeing as Fairy takes no damage from Dragon in the first place. Use them as setup fodder or a free switch-in to a predictable coverage move.

Also, the general rule of thumb is to only have one STAB move on a Pokemon per type. So stick with just Hydro Pump for Blastoise. I'd actually recommend Surf over it since HP has 80% accuracy, but whatever floats your boat.

Didn't crit and at the time Zygarde was LV 70, Dedenne was 59.
Also, I saw what ya did there. "Floats your boat." how PUNNY.
