So my parents decided to cancel my plans (without asking me) with friends for tonight to take me out to a place that I don't even like. When we get to the restaurant, we're standing around for about 45 minutes doing NOTHING but waiting for a table. When we get the table, it's another 30 minutes to get the food I don't even like. What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday night.

I hated when my parents used to do that, then their response would be "can't fit us in your busy schedule ey?" x-x

No, it's more like they fit themselves in my busy schedule.

My parents are like that too. Except it's more like they plan events without telling me. Like I could be sitting in my room, I just got comfy and unwinded. Then suddenly my door flies off its hinges as my dad hulks his way into my room then is all like "Why aren't you dressed? We're eating dinner at *insert random stranger's house* and we're expected to look good. Your mother and i talked about this for a week. Come on, hurry up and get in the car!" meanwhile I'm confused, haven't showered, not dressed, and certainly no mood to get up. Like I hate whenever they have these big plans then on the day it happens I just find out. I always get the same carbon copy reply: "OoOo! You should spend more time with us and be apart of the family." We live together for crying out loud >.< my room is less than 10 feet away from your's.
