It's one of their best franchises...you could say the phrase 'why fix it if it isn't broken' applies here.

They have a sound business model that continues to work for them.

Haven't heard this game's gonna be in 3D? Close enough to a change for me.

A lot of people that voice their opinion say that, but Pokemon Black and White had the highest ratings of any Pokemon game. Aside from the "silly" new Pokemon (some are, like Vanillite, I think, but remember those egg pokemon from the first generation? [I've forgotten the name]), it kept what was already great the same, and also for the first time had a decent storyline.

If the latest games are getting progressively better ratings, why would they stop making them?

Edit: I just checked, and Pokemon Black and White 2 got lower ratings on one site than the other games. But on another it has 9.6/10. So still.

I like both, but the big bits on the ends of the wing things look weird to me. And how do you say Yveltal, do you think? I'm going Yell-vell-tell in my head, but that definitely doesn't seem right to me. Maybe Yivelltell? I dunno, I'm terrible at pronunciation.

Pokemon X and Y could be based on Paris, just like Black and White being based of New York and Red, gold, silver, sapphire etc etc is based off areas in Japan

Yeah, that's one of the things I like about gens 5 and 6. They have started to look for locations around the world to base the sort of "atmosphere" of the game off of instead of just in Japan. It just is, y'know, fresh feeling.

Hey guys, I just realized something. Y'know how gens 1-4 were in regions based mainly off of Japan? And gen 5 was based off New York City? Well, New York is in America. And I don't think this gen will be in a region based off France. The building everyone is thinking may be based off the Eiffel Tower may actually be based off either the Empire State Building or the Seattle Space Needle.
