x_x Was gnna vote for york fort (after i saw rufus message-but already voted) York fort was most unique as outside i think what really made it worse was all flag health changes etc ages ago so they basically destroyed their own work.

I'd rather have them remove Castle and Snow and just leave it or remove maybe swamp too. Less towers=more people going for same tower=harder

  • Very distant location on the map
  • Requires that you have a lantern before you even get to it
  • Spawn at flag
The first two basically protect this tower from ever experience the level of PKing that a tower like MoD goes through. I actually think the 50 BKs and 300 kills requirements should be removed from Castle and Sardon's as well. Why do those even exist? It'd make sense as a part of a quest, which I know Castle and Sardon's was designed for, but not for a tower. Anyway, I just feel like Snow is way too protected compared to other towers.

I haven't towered in a whille so I came back to help wounded tower a bit and they took sards tower for 1k , I noticed that the tower insides where remodelled and I really don't like it for one solo reason , although the corridors being wider help preventing major blocking but not with the insane increase in lag I've recently noticed everyone that walks trough the corridor is only hittable once as their blink last long enough for them to run the whole thing .....

Towered in Sardon's all day today. It is really good fun.

The lantern requirement is what prevents me from organizing attacks on Snow since half the guild is filled with new recruits and most of them don't have lantern and don't want to waste gralats buying it just for the sake of towering. Also the spawn is way too close to the flag for the tower holders and for the attackers they respawn way too far.

I'd say since the flag health changes and spawn changes thats when competitiveness actually died completely as nothing is as much of a challenge now.. guess thats what happens when sparrers begin to take over doing forts makes it to their preference.

towers are not competitive because there are too many towers compared to the number of decent active guilds taking them. you want towers to be competitive? gather all of your friends and attack someone's home fort repeatedly. (ie) took sards from that wack illuminati guild so many times yesterday and at times held it for longer than them. made their daily hours drop from #2 to #4. towers aren't competitive because people are too busy whining about them on here to actually attack them and give the holding guild a challenge.

sards is a good fort right now with the exception of the loading zone spam being possible, enough to guarantee 1.5 health or lower for everyone who gets to the flag room. before this, an attacking guild could barely even make it to the spike room though. towers should be balanced when it comes to ease of attacking/defending them.

snowtown is probably the lamest fort right now because the defenders spawn 1 second away from the flag and it's so far away. destiny is also insanely far away though, can't say anything else about this tower because i've never even attacked it yet.

castle is probably the most annoying fort to attack due only to the fact that you spawn 20+ seconds away from the flag room when you die. this fort would be really good if you spawned somewhere reasonable, like past the "You may enter!" guards.

swamp sucks because of the water.

deadwood sucks because the flag room is tiny.

mod is alright but insanely annoying because every pker relentlessly attacks it the whole day and makes it harder for you to defend it/take it depending on which flag-spamming guild they target.
