It wouldnt matter what answer I choose but I would say yes on bringing back spar hats.. If they actually give it to me. I had 20k wins since around 2010 and I was never informed of anything of the new hats such as the 'gold helm or red china hat' when I was busy taking towers. The new sparrers and most veteran sparrers got theirs so I decided to ask for a challenge to get those new hats but they said no for some reason. Asked for it too many times and said the same answer so I just got over.

Yes, in the past when I was noob. when you get 6k, you have to ask an admin to give you a spar hat.
And there was barely around ~200 people who has it. They stopped giving out since mid 2012.

6k is a bit random for a hat it should be every 5k wins

There was two ways to get hats from sparring. 1. Wafflez used to give out hats to the first person that beat him(others might have done it as-well, but wafflez seem to do it more often) 2. By reaching certain milestones the golden helm 6k, red china hat 10k, and the black crown with the glow 20k.


the thing was you had to ask for the milestone hats. I never got my red china hat and only got the golden helm because Eddy(713 eddy) got it for me. Mono didn't get his golden helm and red china hat until Pedro helped him out.


Also, Droozy had the golden helm with like 4k wins, so I think the milestone thing was an admin thing not a server thing.

I might be wrong, but I remember the original 20k winners getting the black crown and it had a glow. They resold it at nafets, but it didn't have a glow. If kevin, the german, shinta, or nite are still around they might be able to answer that more accurately.

Hadi became an admin early last year, old admin haha no...

Black crown originally was just a crown with no glow but it ended up being sold onto the stores along with the white china so they made some better shading and glowing onto ours. And yeah to get the new spar hats before you need an admin friend to get it, which sucks for me lol. Also droozy did get 10k wins but there was a whole speculation before that he boosted most of his wins and so although he did get the gold helm, in the end he got reset.

I think hats should be awarded every 50k kills, and every 10k wins.

I'd say every 100k-150k kills. No comment on spar.

Every 300-500k.

I think if you compare how many PKers have 100k kills to how many sparrers have 10k wins, then the same for 200k and 20k, then the same for 300k and 30k, you'll see that 10k spar wins is about equivalent to 100k PKs

I've always thought that, and that would mean sarah has highest stats in game. She would have 1mill pks.

Having them re-added would attract a lot more people to spar, so half of the spar rooms won't be empty most of the time.

The templates are all out there, in Graal Cilent, how hard is it to make an NPC to check stats and get these hats into the game in less than a week?

I agree with the spar. But a hat every 50k? That means some people would just get a hat every 3-4 weeks. Thats to much.

What's the point of giving rewards for 100k and 200k pks though? So many people have 100k pks and a lot of people are getting 200k as well.

Hmm, good point. Eventually, 500k won't be a thing anymore, so setting hat rewards to a certain number of PKs is pointless. Only thing I can think of that would solve this problem is 1 token per x amount of kills. Tokens can then be used to purchase rewards.
