I'm also waiting for someone to tell me what Donald Trump's stances are. Because I genuinely don't know what to believe that comes out of his mouth anymore.

Don't have any sources so take this with a grain of salt, you may want to look into some of these individually because he differs a lot from the standard republican.
seriously though, you can just google this ****.

Gun Control: Against
Obamacare: Against
Healthcare Reform: Support
Abortion: Against
Cut DoD Spending: Against
Gay Marriage: Not Against
Legalization of Recreational Marijuana: Against
Climate Change: Indecisive
Refugees: Against
Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants: Support
Deportation of Illegal Immigrants: Support
Federal Minimum Wage Rise: Against

He has been for and against both abortion and refugees though. Not only has he been caught in multiple lies too. I seriously cannot understand why anyone would want to trust him.

I'm saying I think MrSimons missed my point. I'm trying to imply that Trump drastically shifts his opinion constantly. There's no knowing which ones he holds in office.

He claims that he changed his view on abortion a few years ago when a close family friend got accidentally pregnant and decided to have the child. I personally think abortion is an irrelevant issue since Roe v Wade; and its ridiculous to seriously bother with a candidates view on it because the current law isn't to change.

Also its not as if he is the only candidate who lies, every politician is going to lie to you.

Agree on that, kinda tired of hearing about it. Think that they only really ask it to see a politicians stance on religion, in a way.

On a different note, Rubio seems fairly dead-in-the-water to me. Especially if he doesn't win the Florida primary. Kasich was never in the race to begin with, from my perspective. Only see Cruz and Trump with a real chance to win the republican nomination at this point.

Vermin Supreme seems a lock to win the democrat nomination this year

I love how when he gets called out on something being impossible as in the government would never allow it, he says "We'll see", then when he wants to avoid the question he says "Oh we will let the supreme court decide.

You're misinterpreting, he isn't literally wishing that someone becomes broke. He's implying that "his" community is taking advantage of systems like welfare and exploiting them rather than using them in a way to create job opportunities for themselves. So, he's saying that he wishes that there was more risk in "becoming broke" rather than just knowing you can fall back and depend on government assistance.

Also, what's going on at the Trump rallies is just sad. Protesting is an exercise of the First Amendment, not an act that allows you to abuse someone else's First Amendment rights. How the hell is it American to prevent someone else from speaking to thousands of people who want to hear them?

When you see that a Trump rally has been interrupted and stopped on the news, you probably think, "Wow, what a bad guy, he must be doing really terrible things for people to do that!" when the reality is that this is the existence of the guy who rushed at Trump's stage: https://twitter.com/Younglionking7
He's literally a Tumblr-using, attention-whoring, Instagram-filtering, wannabe revolutionary who is doing absolutely everything in his power to get money, attention, interviews, etc. He's just a loser. He has no real message or cause.

NdGT said it pretty well in that tweet the other day:

Anyone else here wish this whole election just didn't exist?

I feel like the IQ of the entire country dropped drastically once all these candidates started running for election.

Really wish we could trade these candidates for some rational people who aren't totally infatuated with their popularity and start spouting bogus ****.

And I ain't just talking about Donald Trump, literally every candidate on both sides makes me cringe with the stuff they and their supporters say.

Yeah guess your viewpoint must be equally cringy.

But don't worry, cringier statements have been uttered.

A: A liberal

Then the next logical step would be to ask yourself how much money must my family make, or how much I'm planning on making when finished with university...

Then you may understand why I vote the way I do. To protect my interests.

To put it bluntly, and I know this will trigger so many of you coddled people, but I could not possibly care less if you get poor and starve (which will probably never happen) but I'm voting for myself. I don't think anything else should be expected of an individual. I shouldn't be seeking to better everyone else except for myself. That just isn't rational.

The fact that you are scared that you might not be able to put a kid through college if a specific candidate gets elected is proof you don't feel financially secure. Maybe if you did your research you would know who Bernie wants to increase the tax on, instead of just guessing?

Not scared that I won't be able to..scared that it will cost me more. I don't like that. I know exactly where the taxes will be increased at, hence why he is a terrible choice for me.

GotenGraal 03-16-2016 07:17 PM

Fulgore 03-16-2016 07:54 PM

Exactly, if I have a job that requires high qualification and workload, I am working for my own pay, to benefit me. I'm not going to uni right now with the end goal of paying for everyone else in life.
