Does the ability capsule work on dream world abilities, so for example if I wanted to use the capsule on venusaur, would I be able to make its ability Chlorophyll?

I have been in this grass for ages, shifting through, looking for absols to grab on my pokeradar, they seem to be shy and only come out on occasion. Perhaps the more I adapt to their culture, the more they will present me with their great red leader.

EXCEPT FOR GEN FOUR COUGHCOUGH

Gen four (DPPt) was the generation with the split between physical and special attacks. The pokemon themselves are far better than gen 5, and the improvements from the previous generations were far more significant than in generation 5. I would argue that gen 5 is by far the worst generation.

Gen 1 has aged horribly, and GEN 4 was the most innovative. Now with X&Y, Diamond/Pearl are very clunky, but Platinum is faster. They made competitive battling a thing.

Gen5 may have been among the most disappointing in terms of actual gameplay and storyline, but it is by far and away the most diverse and interesting competitive scene, with a bunch of balance issues (holy **** Wobbuffet/Garchomp/MixMence) that were present in DPP being fixed without Smogon having to ban every dragon in the game except DNite. DPP had a really boring metagame since there was no team preview - Baton Passers and suicide Azelfs galore - and there was almost no diversity in team compositions. A lot of great abilities were introduced in Gen5 too, and a lot of the non-Uber legendaries really defined the metagame as much more fast paced, and teambuilding is so much more interesting than the Taunt/Spikes*3/Explosion Azelf + 5 sweepers or stall teams that dominated DPP.

DPP's in-game story and such were fun, second to Emerald and Crystal to me though. Those two games really defined my childhood. I was never a fan of RBY, it was really bland at the time.

I didn't mean All of gen four, The Special/Physical split was amazing. To be honest I can't really pick one gen that I hate the most. All of the gens have their own little flops, but they all have things that I like about them.

Some say Gen 1 was flawed since the beginning. I played Ruby, FireRed, Diamond, then Blue and Later, Crystal. I knew that they were old, and FireRed was a remake..but even when I was 8, I DREADED GEN 1. Generation 2 is like the Platinum. Faster, and better. Even Gen one has many broken things, such as the only Dragon Move being Dragon Rage, so Dragons has one weakness, Ice, and there weren't many ice moves. Psychic was even worse, they sweep everything...ghost was even weak to it. Nowadays, Psychic is balanced...but back then, Mewtwo was a beast, just because of the Special Stat, until GEN 2 with the wondrous split.

Gen 5 had interesting competitive mechanics, however I'm hoping dream world is forgotten entirely in the future, and I can see B/W and dream world becoming "that game" that kinda let the series down.

Also, gen 4 was Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver. The remakes weren't superb, but they were good, and it's astounding to think anybody would consider gen 4 to be sub par.

Dream World is a stupid mechanic. I think they should stop making me have to use the stupid laggy website..

Platinum is def better than any other pokemon game.
